"We had dinner here yesterday at my wife's request and I was blown away by how fantastic everything was. It was our first time here, it will not be the last.We had the Calamari for the appetizer. It was done perfectly. The sweet pickled peppers and parmasean were a nice added flavor. We decided on just going with the night specials for dinner.I had the steak and garlic parmasean fries. It was done fantastically. The steak had a unique sauce on top and the fries were just incredible. My wife, on the other hand, had the other house special which was chicken bacon tortellini. It was the absolute most delicious meal ive ever tasted. My wife preferred the steak and we switched. I loved it.We loved everything so much we had dessert. Tirimusu and blueberry crumble cheesecake. Both were goodThe atmosphere was classy, quiet. A bunch of rooms and different areas made it seem very low key and not crowded, though there was a good bit of people there. Our service was always very good. Attentive, knowledgeable about the offerings. Not overly hovering.Would definitely recommend and hope other people give it a try!"

Pricey place. Good quality food and drinks! Again it is pricey for what you get. Would be a great appetizer and drinks location with friends. Calamari and the Cesar salad were very good.

The quality of the food did not meet the price point and was just average. It was also overly seasoned. On a positive note, the service was good. However, the bus staff should dress more appropriately for this type of restaurant.

Our company hosted Dinner Presentations in this restaurant and we were well pleased. The food was delicious, with unique flare…not “chain restaurant” style which was refreshing. The staff was friendly, and attentive and our guests were raving about their meals. Thank you DeBlaze! You are a bright star among a sky filled with so many dim stars.. View menu

Food was very good, sauces didn't have as much flavor as I'd hoped for. Very fresh, and tasty sandwiches. Really liked the Reuben. Pasta didn't come with bread or salad though. Nice, informative wait staff.Parking: Street parking is not always open, so be prepared to pay at the lot. One of the payment machines was not working, so had to walk to find the other. Pretty inexpensive, though.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was fantastic, and the service was amazing. Can't wait to bring others here. A very nice upscale experience nestled in Carnegie, indoor and outdoor seating. The calamari was perfectly cooked. Risotto balls were as well. Presentation on the main course (Halibut and Mussels) was fantastic. Sides were amazing and great portions to share. Highly recommended!

I took my wife out last night and decided to give DeBlaze at 131 another chance. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the menu. I'm not struggling financially or looking for bargains, but the prices are outrageous. A 14oz ribeye is $60, an 8oz flat iron is $30, and the highlight is a 34oz tomahawk priced at $120. The seafood prices are similarly steep. I'm sorry, but if I'm spending that kind of money, I'd rather go to Eddie Merlot and enjoy prime cuts for less. That's all I have to say. View menu

Always happy to see thriving establishments in my local area. We gathered with a group of 6 for dinner. Tried several appetizers and cocktails to start all were delish. 3 of us ordered the special flat iron steak and the meat was perfect! The topping was a bit on the salty side; but I’m ok with that. Also the salmon halibut graced our table with a gorgeous presentation as well as fresh tasty. The side dishes: corn, eggplant potatoes were are really good too. The eggplant a little heavy on the sauce. Dessert wasn’t missed and the limoncello cheesecake was divine. Overall a great dinner enjoyed by all. Service was very good our server was sweet efficient. The ambiance lacks in my opinion and i...

We had dinner reservations at 6:00 and I called earlier that day, at 1:00 to ask if the restaurant could do me a favor since it was my wife 's birthday. I asked if they could put a small candle in my wife 's dessert. I was surprised at the lack of willings to accommodate this simple request. The response I got was I 'm not sure if we have any candle, I guess I could check up stairs. Then I asked if I should bring my own candle I was already turned off by the response) and I was told yes that might be a good idea. This shows a lack of customer service and willingness to make sure a dinning experience is the best it can be.The waiter had not idea of my wife 's birthday and we had to ask for the...

"While staying in the Pittsburgh area a lot over the past year, I've been trying many different places... I love really good Pakistani food, and am not nearly as fond of Indian food, but I came here one night for dinner and absolutely appreciated the owner's service, as well as the food they make here! I tried several things: Vegetable Pakora These unfortunately were sent back because they were slightly over done, but they apologized sincerely for that and removed them from the bill. Vegetable Biryanni Absolutely Excellent! Nice and spicy and loaded with robust, authentic flavors!! This paired with their raita was amazing!!! And wow, was it spicy!! Keema Muttar This was decent, but was a little saucier than I prefer (and than I'm used to). The flavors were excellent! The meat was lamb and there was the slight flavor of that. But overall, it was a decent dish. Bullet Naan I've never heard of this, so I had to try it, especially since it's made with green pepper and supposedly spicy. It was definitely spicy, but their naan was very thin. I actually prefer it thin, so I don't get filled up on bread. The only issues I've got is I eat in the traditional way, with my hands and in order to do so, you fold the naan or roti in half and then break off a piece Well, many of these places cut it into quarters which limits ow you can break off pieces. The other huge gripe I have is that they add ghee or butter to it, thus making it a greasy mess. Aside from those issues, it tasted great. Roti This resembled the bullet naan, but without spices, but with so much greasiness, the last slice was completely soaked and oily. The flavor was decent though. Lastly, He offered me mango lassi and I've not had lassi in probably 35 years, when I was last in Pakistan.... This lassi was very tasty and you could see and taste the fresh mango in it. Overall, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Pittsburgh area so far... I've tried several, but they do it the most authentic and best here. I'd definitely suggest it for those seeking some really good, authentic flavors. I'll be back!"
