"In the salad course, we had the choice of a Caesar salad or a garden salad, both of which were enjoyable. For our main course, we both opted for the beef filet and scallops. The filet was cooked perfectly and paired with a flavorful black pepper brown gravy, while the scallops were large and very tasty, though a bit chewy in texture. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus spears were outstanding.
For dessert, we were disappointed to find that the raspberry crème brûlée, which was listed on the menu, was unavailable as that would have been our top choice. Instead, we selected the deep dish cherry pie from the options the server provided. While the pie was good, it was not actually a deep dish.
To finish off the meal, we were delighted to receive champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries with our dessert—a lovely touch that paired well with our dining experience."
