"After waiting 15 minutes, someone finally came to take our drink order, and we received our drinks about five minutes later. However, it took another 10 minutes before they returned to take our food order. We placed our orders, and shortly after, the waitress dropped off some breadsticks. My house salad arrived, but I had to ask for silverware. Instead, she took our glasses for refills and never brought the silverware.
We waited another 15 minutes, during which the waitress passed by our table three more times without making eye contact, even when I tried to signal for silverware. The noise at the bar made it difficult to speak up, so I leaned back in my chair with my arms crossed, clearly showing my frustration. Still, no silverware arrived.
Finally, we decided to leave and stood up. Another waitress came over and asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned we were leaving because of the lack of service, we inquired about the drinks' cost. She returned with our bill and told us not to worry about it.
After spending an hour there, we had only received drinks and a salad that we couldn't eat without silverware. This was a very disappointing experience for my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. If you're going to position yourself as a high-end restaurant with premium prices, perhaps you should treat your customers as though they matter. A simple acknowledgment of being behind schedule would have sufficed. Ignoring customers is not the solution."
