"I received a couple of Panera gift cards for Christmas and decided to treat myself to lunch yesterday. I usually go for the "pick 2" option, and this time I chose the creamy tomato soup and a half sandwich with turkey, avocado, and bacon. I actually thought the turkey item would be a salad, so I was a bit disappointed when my order arrived. However, not wanting to change anything, I accepted the order as it was. Let me tell you, that turkey avocado sandwich was incredible! I ended up very pleased with my slight misunderstanding and thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing lunch."

"The store management at this Market Street location apparently cares more about having food options for the online orders than for the walk-in customer orders. On 6/18 /22, I walked up to the counter asking if any four cheese soufflé were available, and I was told by the very kind and helpful cashier that more of them were being prepared. When she returned to give me an update, I was informed that there weren’t any available because they had already been sold. Really?? Thank you for thinking so little about the HUMANS who enter your store. Do you really WANT US IN THERE?"

"Loved my Caesar salad and fontago chick sand! But most of all, manager Adam (name on the receipt, definitely a manager at the register), was....awesome! Both Carmen and I left our wallets at home and had no cash stashed in the car� All we had was a $15 Panara gift card, our bill $25.07. After my search in the car, I returned and said we need to cancel our order, Carmen said lets just get the salads, Adam.....he threw in the $10, saying he knew we were long time Panara Bread customers, he had it� We will pass on the kindness! #adamPanaramade my day�"

"We placed a to-go order for a salad and a sandwich through the kiosk, but we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for our food. When we finally left, I noticed that they had forgotten to include any dressing for the salad. My husband spoke to the manager about the long wait, but the manager simply said they were busy and didn’t offer any apology. To make matters worse, we overheard them telling other customers that the wait was only 20 minutes. I chose not to provide my email address, so I didn’t receive a receipt to file a complaint with corporate. All in all, I won’t be returning to this restaurant."

"7/16/2022 I am a long time Panera Bread customer and do like their food. But, today I had a disgraceful experience in their Coconut Point, Estero FL store. I placed my order and sat at a table. When my buzzer went off signaling that my food was readyI proceeded to the counter. When I arrived at the counter my food was the only food on the entire counter and there was aperson standing in front of it blocking my access to the food. I tried to reach for it but could not get past the person toreach it. She turned around and looked at me then turned her back to me again without moving and responding in any way. I saidin a normal voice that I would like to get my food. She (Meghan turned out to be the manager) gave me a dirty look andpushed my food across the counter knocking the sandwich off the plate. I then asked her if I could get some condiments whichshe was blocking also. She nearly threw them across the counter. I told her I did not understand her rude behavior and sheyelled that is it, I am calling security. Security came to my table and said I have to leave. I told him what happened and hesaid he understood and suggested that I let Panera corporate know what happened. I asked for a refund for my meal and Meghan said that is not going to happen. I asked for take out boxes to take my meal and she gave me a Dirty box. Igathered my food and left. She yelled at me on the way out the door that her name was Meghan and to make sure that I spelled itright. As a human being, let alone an employee I would apologize to anyone that I was unintentionally standing in their way. Ican not understand how anyone can keep a job with such behavior. I see by the comments that it appears to be a commonoccurrence at this location. Good food. Decent prices. Unbelievably terrible customer service ! ! !"

"this place does not seem to have everything together, which is a clear indication of bad management. I have gone to panera breads for ever and have never received such incompatible service. this is the second time that I ordered a chicken chip avocado melt and ended with less than a small handful of huh, the avocado was heavy, and the cheese was hardly on the sandwich. the only reason I gave them another shot was because I had a lunch, wanted a suppe and had no time to go elsewhere. the suppe tastes good. I will say that my eating came very fast, but it is likely because it was thrown together so badly. oh, and I asked for chips that even got on my reception, but got brot instead. perfection!"

"This is one of my favorite dining spots. The food is consistently fresh, and I never have to wait long for my order. On March 13th, 2024, I visited with my boyfriend and ordered a sandwich. We were unaware that it contained horseradish, and when he tried it, it made him feel ill right away. I went back inside and was met by a staff member whom I believe was the manager on duty. Although I didn't catch her name, she was fantastic. She promptly had a new sandwich prepared for us. I just wanted to express my gratitude and say thank you!"

"Yesterday (12-12-24) I went in to order and eat lunch. I was expecting my wife and four friends . When I went in around 1230pm I noticed every single table was occupied. And also saw other people walking around looking for a table. But what was so Astonishing was I Counted about TEN tables that were occupied NOT by people eating but on their laptops with No Panera cup or plates. To the left as I walked in every table had someone on a laptop, NOT eating. And a Four person table had ONE man that had bags on the table and in the seats, he appeared to be homeless or just hanging around taking up a four person table. I fortunately found a two person table that just opened up. But when my four friends arrived and looked around they left. When my wife arrived she walked and saw all tables full and left and called me ten minutes later. It’s amazing management just lets people loiter and take up all the tables and just let PAYING customers walk out the door! WOW! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Panera Bread is a very reliable place to get very good food and excellent drinks. I really don 't use the the bakery service much anymore, though I used to like to get there bagels and baguettes, which have always been good. Every so often I will bring some bagels into work. I do wish that Google listed an additional rating category beyond food, service, and atmosphere. Namely, value. My son and I got lunch and with tip it was $55. He got The Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich and I got the Green Goddess Cobb salad. He got a mango smoothie. I got one of their sugar-free charged drinks (with caffeine). I am torn, because the salads are always excellent. They really are clean , meaning there is no old or wilted lettuce like you often find in salads many places. You don 't need to look through your salad to try to pick out the unfresh gunk. That is certainly worth a lot. I 'm not absolutely sure it is worth $20, but I do have some additional add-ins. Anyway, we go here because they are absolutely reliable, and because we can put in an online order using their app and by the time I drive from my house to the restaurant it is ready for me to grab off the shelf. We rarely stay in the restaurant to eat. Anyway, Panera is right near some kind of economic tipping point where their higher prices are just barely justified by the quality of their food. I 'm sure that is exactly where they want to be."

"My wife literally left in tears. The most caring, loving, thoughtful, mother of 5 felt after the THIRD time this place failed to combine 4 simple ingredients (sausage, egg,cheese, and everything bagel) that she had been some sort of burden to Panera breadby not just excepting the bacon egg and cheese on a hoagie loaf, or the brioche bun sandwich they made, or whatever that thirdthing was I'm not even certain of. This AFTER the 25 minutes of waiting due to the dead battery buzzer they gave us. I got areturn with a receipt only to go to dunkin and have what I ordered made correctly and in about 5 min or so. Dunkin for the win.Unfortunately my wife has lost her appetite and currently is still in tears over her feeling as though she was asking too much.Thanks allot pan heads. Oh! Dunkin was %50 less on the price aswell."

"The possibility of me winning the lottery is much higher than this location of Panera ever getting my order correctly. I sparsely visit; I try to avoid this place at all cost because there’s ALWAYS a mix up in my order, or an item is missing, or they charged the wrong price without a discount or promotion they have. The food itself tastes okay, not much room to talk about the quality as most Panera’s maintain the same quality. The only significant comment on the food is that my last trip I noticed the apple had spoiled. The staff provided an extra side for the inconvenience, but still an honest observation about my latest trip and my experience with this location overall."

"I had my worst dining experience at a Panera location, and I used to come here all the time—never again! The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful, and I had a particularly bad experience at the drive-thru previously. The restaurant closed 15 minutes earlier than their posted hours. I placed an online order to pick up at 8:50 PM on Sunday, February 13, and arrived at 8:40 PM. Since I live just 6 minutes away, I expected to pick up my order, but the place was closed when I got there. I knocked on the door to confirm that my order was canceled and to request a refund since I wouldn’t be getting my food. There were three employees inside who were cleaning up, but none of them acknowledged me. I even tried calling, but no one answered. I understand it was near the end of their shift, but they are supposed to assist customers during business hours. I also checked for any signs indicating a different closing time for that day, but there was nothing posted. I no longer feel comfortable spending my money where customer service is so lacking."

"All Panera sites have different problems (some of them so bad that I don't just go, but this particular location is the worst in food quality and preparation: the order is never ready for the planned time, the quality or appearance of the baked goods could look from sad to terrible, Bagels often look flat and not appetizing (I'm pretty much confirming other bad reviews). But this week they went beyond and beyond to get the price for the “wurst Panera ever”: I ordered a box of bagels and cream cheese for pickup, and a small pastry bag, went to the quick pick-up shelf, took my order and went to work. I trust the receipt and the person in the café who said that they are checked items and cream cheese are in the box with the bagels, and I should not have two cream cheese tubs were not in a box. What is the point of bringing Bagels to treat your colleagues and not with cream cheese to supplement them? Just chew the bread? So I called, talking to 3 different people, impossible to prove that it was missing (of course!, so I just gave up trying to fix their inability. Served back and paid for two pans of cream cheese and one of them was a terrible quality it had previously frozen (not chilled as for food quality when I opened, there were ice crystals and it was all healed and smelled disgusted. What a waste of time, money and energy. And the staff is also very unpleasant."

"The fruit cup was definitely not worth the $4.29! I should have taken a picture, but I didn’t. The sandwich was good, though. The fruit cup only had about two-thirds of a cup of fruit, and for that price, it felt like a rip-off. There were a couple of small pieces of pineapple, non-organic strawberries (which are known to be full of pesticides—definitely the worst option unless they're organic!), and the fresh blueberries were decent. The canned mandarin oranges were generic and unappealing. Overall, it simply wasn’t worth the money, and I won’t be ordering it again."
