"Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. While the space is really cute, the food and service are not good at all. After being seated, it was nearly 10 minutes before anyone came by to take a drink order. Ordered everything all at once at our first opportunity. The daqari was terrible very chemically and overly sweet. Our server chearfully replaced it with a glass of wine. And then we waited. Nearly 30 minutes after ordering, our apps arrived. The cheese puffs were tasty; the corn cakes decidedly less so. We again waited more than 30 minutes for our entrees... 2 burgers. Unfortunately, the server heard me wrong and keyed the beef burger instead of the lamb. As we were nearly 1.5 hours in at this point, I was unwilling to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement dish. The fries were tasty, but the bite of burger I tried was bland and somewhat dry. There are much better choices on this ends of town and I see no reason to try Blackbird again."
