"Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. While the space is really cute, the food and service are not good at all. After being seated, it was nearly 10 minutes before anyone came by to take a drink order. Ordered everything all at once at our first opportunity. The daqari was terrible very chemically and overly sweet. Our server chearfully replaced it with a glass of wine. And then we waited. Nearly 30 minutes after ordering, our apps arrived. The cheese puffs were tasty; the corn cakes decidedly less so. We again waited more than 30 minutes for our entrees... 2 burgers. Unfortunately, the server heard me wrong and keyed the beef burger instead of the lamb. As we were nearly 1.5 hours in at this point, I was unwilling to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement dish. The fries were tasty, but the bite of burger I tried was bland and somewhat dry. There are much better choices on this ends of town and I see no reason to try Blackbird again."

Food was delicious, service was very good, ambience attractive For some reason, we were only customers at that time, so had the room to ourselves. They had been very busy earlier, we were told. Good place, will return.

There food was overpriced and undesirable. We both got the quinoa plate, which was merely a mound of quinoa with undercooked beets for $22. The ambience was as if it should be a breakfast brunch spot. It is in a great location, and has much to offer. View menu

The food was good, but it took over 40 minutes to arrive after placing our order. I'm not sure whether it was a function of being short staffed or the kitchen was running behind. What made it uncomfortable is that soon there was a backlog of diners waiting just inside the doorway for the table(s) they had reserved, but we still hadn't gotten our meals.

All 4 of us enjoyed our “date night” for Valentines Day. We each ordered something different so there was lots of variety. I so enjoyed the lamb burger with mixed greens. I had a taste of my friend’s mushroom fettuccini which was also delicious. The only complaint was from my husband who had the swordfish with Blackbird Fries. He liked the fish but not the fries. Oh, the potato soup was outstanding!
