"First things first, we arrived on a 'busy ' night so we waited 30 minutes or so to be seated which is understandable. Once seated our drink orders were taken and we got those quickly but it took around 45 minutes just to receive our food. Enough time that two other tables were served, had finished eating and left the restaurant before we ever saw our food.We got the Nashville Karaage sando, Furikake Salmon and Yoshi Don. Food wasn 't bad but for the price, I expected better. The $20 Karaage tasted like regular fried chicken with average slaw on plain bread, only worth half of what we paid so that was upsetting. The $25 Furikake Salmon was probably the best dish any of us ordered but all of the flavor came from the Furikake so it was a bit salty and drowned out every other flavor. The Yoshi Don tasted the same though the entire dish and was probably my least favorite thing. For the most expensive thing on the TINY menu, you 'd think there would be a little more effort there. I also requested the egg yolk be cooked all the way through and it was not. It was cooked juuuust past runny and that almost ruined the entire dish for me.Taste overall was mediocre for the price but I guess it is Seattle so what can you really expect.Service excellent from the server. Even though it was slow our server was very friendly and took care of us.The food looked very nice though before we tasted it.Between these 3 meals and one drink from the bar I think the total was a bit north of $100 before tip. Sadly we all left feeling quite disappointed..."

"Amazing. I walked in and asked to be seated at the sushi counter. They abruptly told me that there is a food minimum. I wasn't too concerned but still is was awkward at first. Anyway all great after there. I began with a salad. We all know he generic ginger dressing at all sushi restaurants, I kinda like it. This was an amazing salad. Simple but the finger dressing wasn't the one aforementioned. Clearly house made and delicious. Spicy yet not overpowering. Then began the sushi. I told the sushi chef that I was hungry but would defer judgement to him. And that I liked everything. He began with sashimi and then sushi. Everything was delicious. From the blue fin tuna tasting to the mackerel and sardines and everything in between. I usually don't love raw shrimp but this one was amazing. He showed me how to open the head to expose the meat which was by far the best part. The uni was also out of control. I finished off my meal with a molten chocolate dessert. At that point I hadn't ever seen a menu and as I just stepped of the street I had no pre knowledge about any prices. I'll cut to the chase. It wasn't cheap. The bill shocked me a little. I spent $186 with tip. Worth it? Not sure. I don't regret it for one second. The sushi chef clearly enjoys what he does and that spills over to my enjoyment. Will I be back? Probably but for a more special occasion not simply a sushi fix. Thank you for a great meal!"
