"Used to go there all the time when I lived in the area and it's been about 20 years. Went back the other night and I never thought I would say this about something that didn't have meat in it but they're marinara sauce is the absolute best I've ever had. Excellent and consistent service. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. A very rare, quaint, an excellent place to go have dinner. We explained food allergy and they were very cognizant of it and explained in detail what we were getting."

"Finally made a visit to the rebuilt Blessings Tavern Sat 12/04/21 1230pm. Beautiful new tavern reopened in 2018 after a fire due to a motor vehicle collision with the building Oct 29, 2016. This neighborhood favorite was established in 1950 and cultivated a very loyal following. Family friends, working class lunches, and a lunch stop for golfers. We had been here many times in the past (pre-Yelp). Very comfortable place to drink dine.This Sat was very busy at lunch time, full in the dining area. As we walked in we were greeted by a familiar face. Karen has been here for many years and is a veteran of the local food service industry. I have known her for 30+ years. Today she was serving lunches and tending bar. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks and looked over the menu. Full service bar, draft bottled beers, wine. The menu includes soups, salads, apps, hot cold sandwiches wraps, some seafood dinners. My dates had the cup-o-soup 1/2 sandwich lunch deal. Tomato rice soup 4) 1/2 cold roast beef sandwich 8 I had a loaded chili dog that came w/ a big serving of American-style macaroni salad 8). We were all very pleased w/ our choices. The owner, Liz also came in while we were there. The menu at Blessings is a real value.Hours: M-F 11:30am-9:30pm, Sat Sun 12-9:30pm. "The customer service here is unparalleled. They have been so accommodating and friendly. Not in the restaurant, they don't have many places to sit or serve. But if you walk in, you will treated with kindness and understanding. My wife and I were just passing by with our dog on a hot afternoon. We had been walking for a while and the dog got burned out, so we stopped in to ask for a cup of water. They gave us a bottled water free of charge and a doggy treat to boot. We have found our local pizza place. This LaRosa's has forever earned our business."

"This is the best ice cream shop within at least a 15-mile radius, and possibly even farther. Their selection is outstanding, and the quality of the ice cream and ingredients is exceptional—nothing else in the area can compare. "I WASTED MY MONEY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO!! While in Cincinnati I am always excited to try some local flavors. Chilies, soups, and hot drinks always makes for a nice splash in the winter snow, so I landed on Mariemont’s LaRosa’s Pizza Baked Onion Soup. Rave reviews for the Hyde Park Location, but friends and company where near and ordering the downtown Mariemont area…. Nevertheless , I highly recommend the area around this place. (Sidebar: Movie theater, Starbucks, pet and human grooming, art galleries and so much more!! This restaurant is out of place! The people inside are nice, it’s the food. Apparently the original family changed and sold the recipes or something don’t quote me on that; it’s just local chatter.)The Baked Onion Soup at this location is a 2/10. It’s more like an onion gravy with a soggy slice of bread and a melted, not baked glob of cheese. The pack of crackers where old and stale. I had no choice other than properly dispose of this item. Luckily, there is a Panera Bread close in proximity. The lovely team there blessed me with an eatable bowl of amazing French Onion Soup; like your Grams use to make, with so much joy and comfort in each bite. Save you money an go straight to Panera or make the trip to Hyde Park."
