"The service was average and the decor was very nice...but the quality of food was a bit subpar. We had the golden chicken ramen with an extra side of pork belly along with the teriyaki salmon. The ramen was like chicken noodle soup with a thin broth. The egg was overcooked and...the side of pork belly was also overcooked. My Gordon Ramsey senses tell me that for something to be that hot yet that dry, with a rubbery texture where the outside perimeter is darker from uneven cooking..it was thrown in the microwave. (Think of when you cook leftover steak in the microwave for too long. Aside from that, the plate it was served on was just as hot as the side of pork belly that was sitting on it so they were obviously both in the microwave. Anyway, probably one of the top worst ramen bowls that I have had. The salmon teriyaki was good, but not enough for me to forget the disappointment of the ramen. Won't be trying this place again."

"Terrible. Sushi was not good quality. It was super expensive the all-you-can-eat. And to top it off, the waitress was super passive-aggressive. We left one roll of sushi that tasted so bad, and I respectfully tried to tell her that it was not to our liking. She rebutted that the fish is super fresh and that there is no way that it tastes bad instead of easily not charging us for the left over sushi. Because, yes, if you leave a roll of sushi, they will charge you how much the roll is worth and that roll in particular was 15.00$ extra. She charged us the 15.00$ extra for leaving a roll that tasted like plastic and laughed because she thought we were wrong and making it up. So the bill was hefty and the food was terrible, and to top it off, the service doesn’t do anything to compensate for the bad food. I paid and left and never looked back. It does not deserve a 4.1 rating, that is being generous. Plus it is not a buffet, it is all you can eat but it is crazy expensive."

"There was one other table in the restaurant, however it still took us 10 minutes to get greeted. We ordered 4 rolls, as well as chicken teriyaki. The soup and salad came out quick but was nearly inedible. The salad was swimming in, whatever they consider to be ginger dressing, and the soup was so greasy it was separating as it cooled. It took about 25 minutes for the main food, which is fine, however, every single roll tasted the same. Everything was bland, as if it was old freezer burned food they should’ve just tossed. The chicken was a thin, flat piece of chewy chicken with some teriyaki sauce tossed on top. We reminded the server for the spicy Mayo and extra set of chopsticks, but once the food came she never came back again, we saw her 2 times. We asked another server for our check (at this point there were 3 tables). We ate about half of the food, and she seemed confused when we didn’t want boxes…maybe if she had showed up once after the food arrived she would’ve known. The cost is the same as many other better, and similar restaurants in the area. Do your taste buds and patience a favor, and don’t go here"

"it was terrible. they forgot us in the private room. we had to get up and ask someone to drink. they never came back and asked if we wanted more. no show for hibachi just cooked. never asked if we wanted to drink something, and we all had empty glasses, and I brought it with me without asking if we wanted anything else. the floor was so slippery. there were old eating at the grill. we were there for a special occasion and even decorated the room. they didn't make it special at all, we totally forget and unintentional. so grief."

"I stopped by this restaurant after shopping at Potomac Mills and sat at the bar. The bartender was fantastic, making the whole experience a perfect 10/10! The drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced. I ordered the triple combo (shrimp, steak, and chicken), upgrading to filet mignon. Everything was delicious, although I wasn't particularly impressed with the steak. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely consider returning if I'm in the area. I enjoyed a Hennessy cranberry and a shot of reposado, and my total came to $55."

"I ordered doordash from here and the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp and was very tasty and cooked very well. However the sushi was nearly flavorless and spongey.. i ordered the pick 3 sushi special of spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail rolls. These rolls were FULL of cruchies and also even mixed into the fish!! Crunchies are a garnish and i didnt order a crunchy roll for any of them. I ate 4 pieces before i realized what they did to save up on product and didnt eat another bite and these photos got me a refund on doordash. Id come for the hibachi only if i were any of you but definitely not the sushi!!! Even wegmans sushi is better! Possibly even gas station sushi might make you sick but would have more flavor than this!"

"The restaurant has a stylish interior with a combination of natural wood and stone. Despite the hot weather outside, the air conditioning inside made for a comfortable dining experience. We shared chicken stir fry and sushi, both of which were delicious. The chicken portion was generous and came with salad and soup. The soup had good flavor, although it was a bit on the salty side. The salad was fresh, and the dressing was brought to the table for you to add as much or as little as you like. The stir fry had great flavor. We ordered a California roll, tuna, and crab sushi, all of which were tasty and reasonably priced. They also offer low sodium soy sauce for those watching their salt intake. The wait staff was quick and attentive, making for an overall good dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon."

"I've been coming to this restaurant for YEARS. Whether it's for birthdays, special occasions, or sushi cravings, this is the place I chose to dine just before the COVID shutdown, ensuring I enjoyed a final meal before everything closed down. "I absolutely loved my experience here. We are visiting NY from OBX VA/NC, so I didn’t expect to be able to find a good sushi place up here but this one is better than our FAVORITE sushi place back home!! The food is perfect, the sushi chef is a really cool guy. We even tried new sushi, which is something that I’m usually scared to do. The chef made something just for us and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! We didn’t sit at the hibachi but we got to see another family get the hibachi experience and it looked so fun! Very cool people and the food couldn’t be any better. I saw someone mention the food not being the best here and I’d have to say they’re wrong! This place IS the best! Maybe sushi/hibachi just wasn’t for them if they didn’t like this place. I look forward to coming back here every year!!"

"The entertainment aspect of the hibachi was somewhat underwhelming. They performed the onion volcano and had us try to catch vegetable pieces in our mouths, but the onion volcano was quite small and brief. We also missed out on other traditional tricks like egg tossing. On the positive side, our chef was very friendly and engaging. The service throughout the meal was commendable, with employees and chefs checking in regularly. However, the wait to be seated was longer than expected, especially since the hibachi grill area was mostly empty except for one other party finishing their meal. We later learned they were hoping more guests would arrive since seating is arranged along a counter/table that encircles the grill, allowing for multiple parties. It was quite calm when we visited, likely due to it being Super Bowl Sunday, when most people were preoccupied. Overall, it's a great spot for delicious hibachi and teppanyaki food. Just come for the food, not the entertainment. Also, keep in mind there is a 20% auto-gratuity for parties of two or more and a $7 fee for sharing."

"The service here is consistently quick and friendly. It's casual enough for a lunch outing yet stylish enough for a romantic dinner. While there isn't any table grilling like you might find at some places, you do have the option to watch the chefs at work in the hibachi barbecue area. Although it lacks the dinner-and-a-show experience, the food is still outstanding. Plus, a nice perk is that you won’t have to share a large table with strangers. The sushi is of excellent quality!"

"I have to say the waitress was very nice. The flavor of my shrimp fried rice was really good, but the rice wasn't fully cooked, and the shrimp still had the veins in them. "Needed to pick up something nearby so.we decide to try this restaurant. They offer dim sum on weekend so we decide to try... We also ordered a beef noodle soup. The steamed pork rib tasted warm and not cooked. As a preganant woman I could not risk it. I cut it open.with chopsticks and it's raw and pink inside the pork! They offered to steam those again but I felt See the photo please. Skip their dim sum please... Their noodle is average too but they are not the worst I had. They are playing Godfather theme on the background now and I really could not give them anything beyond 2 stars...Both of the stars are for the noodle. Dim sum, zero star."

"For starters i always order takeout from here every single week. A few weeks ago while ordering takeout the woman on the phone told me that they have a special of 2 sushi rolls with soup and salad for $14 . She asked if i would like to order their special and i said ofcourse. I have ordered from that special takeout for the past 3 weeks straight. I called today to order my usual spicy tuna rolls and the woman on the phone sounded different and gave me an attitude. So i asked her a rhetorical question about the special if it came with soup and salad . Knowing that it does but i wanted to make sure she knew that . She immediately gets aggressive and says that the special is ONLY for dine in. I asked to speak to her manager because she was just being rude , and i hoped i would speak to a professional manager. And he was far from that. I explained this all to him and he just kept saying that he doesn’t believe me that that he doesn’t think that i ordered the special out before. He was also giving me an attitude like the other employee. I am disappointed in the staff today. That manager does not respect customers and i have no reason to lie. I also found the receipt as well so maybe he can believe it now. I work in the restaurant industry, i always tip on my takeout orders and i always tip their servers at least 25%. I treat them all with respect as i do to everyone and am appalled at the service . Also, I am not writing the review because i did not get the special, i am writing it because they should not speak to anyone like this."
