"Amazing Atmosphere! I visited BalMar on a Monday night to enjoy a few cocktails, and I was immediately struck by the ambiance. The space has an urban, loft-like feel with exposed brick walls adorned with artwork from local artists. The soft candlelight creates a perfect setting for an intimate drink with someone special. I decided to try two cocktails from their menu: the Stark and Doomy, along with the PDX Mixed Tape, which is their drink of the month. Both drinks impressed me with their unique flavors. The prices are reasonable, with cocktails at $9 on the menu and $6 during happy hour. The Stark and Doomy has become one of my favorites, especially with its delicious ginger foam topping! Although I didn’t sample any appetizers this time, I definitely plan to order some on my next visit. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and will certainly return, especially given its convenient location on Ballard Ave. Cheers!"
