"The decor is simple and understated, featuring Nepalese and Indian artwork. We arrived late on a Wednesday night, and while the dining room was empty, several people still came in to pick up their orders. Our server promptly took our drink orders and meal selections. Paul, Austin, and I decided to share our dishes family-style. The basmati rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the buttered naan topped with cilantro was absolutely delicious. The oversized samosas, filled with seasoned potato, onion, peas, and herbs, were a standout—dipping them in the mint chutney was pure bliss! The chicken korma was also excellent; Paul ordered it with a spice level of 3 out of 6, and it had just the right amount of heat. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and I particularly enjoyed the creamy coconut curry sauce.
I ordered the Sheek Kabab, which featured grilled, seasoned ground beef served on a sizzling plate over a bed of sliced cabbage and grilled onions, garnished with cilantro—similar to Mexican fajitas. The spice level of 3 out of 6 was just right! It came with a bowl of tikka masala for dipping or garnish, adding to the dish's appeal. Despite the takeout crowd, Sitar maintained a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Our server was fantastic, checking on us frequently; he was friendly and eager to ensure we had a great experience. The only downside was the parking situation, but I plan to visit again, as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience."
