"I took some out-of-town business guests (engineers) to The Cask Wine Bar for a light dinner and wine I was interested in a bottle of Pinot Noir and asked the waiter about a bottle that was offered at He told me it was a good choice and because they also serve it by the glass, he offered me a taste. I truly appreciated that. However, I found the wine acidic and unpleasant to drink. This took me by surprise. At a bottle, I expect a drinkable wine especially from an establishment declaring itself a wine bar. I refused the remainder in the tasting glass, which shocked the waiter a bit After that, I opted for an bottle of Frank Family Pinot Noir I think) and found it a bit rich for a Pinot Noir, but a pleasant wine overall. However, the price seemed high. I can buy the same wine for a bottle. I expect a markup on restaurant wine, but not a markup We ordered two cheese plates, which came with sweet spreads that seem randomly matched with the cheeses. On the first plate, honey was matched with the Saint-Andre and in the second plate, Raspberry jam was chosen. The cheese was good, but not great and not terribly exotic We ordered a meat plate with three meats for They skimped on the meat with around three razor thin slices of each. And once again, the meat wasn't special in any way. I can buy similar fare in the grocery store at a tenth the price per ounce. It did come with crostini and spreads like seedy mustard and a very tasty tapenade. That helped to make up for the lack of meat We also ordered the prosciutto flat bread as well as the salmon flat bread. The prosciutto flatbread was very good, but we didn't finish the salmon flat bread. It was quite edible, but it didn't beckon me back for more We tried the BBQ prawns and the grilled lamb sausages. Again, both were edible but neither were special Overall, we enjoyed the experience and I would return but with much lower expectations."

"I would read reviews that this was a fun place with great eating and they can dinate and watch how human ball room dance. it turns out that none of these things were true. the signs that it will not become, we are from the very beginning exactly there. was broken and I got a bad knee so I ran up the stairs. it has danced, but on the other side of the saales from the restaurant, so there would be no show. we sat and went with menus and wait. for the service of any kind. I'm used forever to order our drinks and they have messed up this. it took forever an appetizer, the cheese plate, that was more cracker than cheese. getting our waitress attentive to order the dinner was another oral. but when our courts came, it got worse. his chicken legs, not legs, was ok, but the sukkolade was meh. my seafood captivating were just terrible. the pasta was not boiled and was a solid glop. I tried to cut it, but it tasted terrible. they did not remove the cocks from the garnel, so I tried to take them off with sauce that sprays around everywhere. I ate the fish pieces and left the rest. we ordered another round drinks that never appeared so my data had to get into the bar to get them. we wanted to try the desserts, but after the main course catastrophe, we wanted to pay and go. the waitress asked about our meal when it was clear that I didn't want to eat it and she took the half of mine. everything in all it is safe to say that we will not be back."
