"Our family stayed for a week in this hotel and had fairly good experience. The location is great as it is with walkable distance to subway. It's also very close to Chelsea market with lots of dining options. There are also several restaurants from different cuisines (Asian, American, etc). The hotel is very modern with NFT decorations on the wall modern arts all over the lobby. We booked 2 different rooms as we added a night due to change of plan. For 1st night, we booked a queen room but the receptionist manager (Mr. Irtiza) was very kind to upgrade our room to king sized one. The room was on the 5th floor that was accessed via the front elevators. It was pretty small (but I guess it's quite customary in New York). The room has very modern decorations bathroom. When we stayed on Saturday night, the room was super noisy. We could hear the sound from the night club next door and lots of honking and people shouting at midnight. Fortunately, we only stayed for a night. Our second room (that we stayed for almost a week) was a king sized bed with larger square footage. It was on 6th floor via the back elevator of the building. It has big round windows overlooking Empire State building The Edge. This larger room was more comfortable for our family as we still had space after putting our big luggages. The bed was a bit soft for us but we managed to get a good sleep. This room was quieter but we could still hear some sound from the night club on Sunday Friday night (not as bad as the previous room). The reception staffs were friendly, especially Mr. Irtiza (the manager) who always greeted us when we passed by. The house keeper was courteous and cleaned the room very well. Our experience was more like 3.5 stars (due to the noise also extra resort fee). Otherwise, the hotel staffs were good."

"reservation for 5 people at 19:00 clock. restaurant (located in the marriott hotel) was not busy; two tables were occupied and a few people at the little bar. No one who manned the host station; we waited and waited, and watched help go for a because look quizzy to us. Finally, someone stopped and asked if they could help us. we said we had a reservation – which led to a surprise effect. seemingly the people at cedar do not make any reservations? they obviously didn't expect us, but they found us a table-ordered drinks. server was apologetic about the confusion, did his best to be attentive. food ordered; two persons in the party ordered a pasta entrée (rigatoni.) shortly after the order returned the server and said apologetic: “... it would be an extra 10-15 minutes” for the pasta dishes and wanted to order them something else. because they would receive their food after the rest of us. odd that a simple pasta dish would represent a problem; but they were ready to wait and wait. the other food came about 20 minutes after ordering; not terrible, but not fast. this order of pastness waited a total of about 35-40 minutes. ok. we were warned, but the worst part: the past was badly done. it was overcrowded and muddy. Actually, we should have sent it back, but it wasn't worth waiting for anything else. the server made its best to take place, and delivered that dessert to table without charge. a nice gesture that was very appreciated. overall the results were however: Pasta dishes poor reuben sandwich good bbq platter good bacon cheesburger trade total experience: fair."
