"I have conflicting opinions about this restaurant. The atmosphere is pretty cool, especially the back room, and Crown Heights is a great location for those wanting to explore beyond Flatbush. Now, let's talk about the food. The appetizers were impressive, but as we moved on to the mains, I was a bit let down. My group of six ordered a variety of dishes, allowing me to sample most of the menu. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, and the shawarma tacos were interesting and enjoyable for fans of Middle Eastern cuisine. The stuffed mushrooms were tasty but small in portion size. The cheese rice balls were excellent. As for the mains.... We ordered two grilled salmon dishes, with one being cooked perfectly and of high quality while the other was dry and disappointing. The Chilean sea bass was good but small for its price. The seared tuna steak was average. The truffle fries and mashed potatoes were delicious. The fettuccine Alfredo was excellent, but the penne Rosa was bland. The vegetable pizza was solid, but the pesto pizza was disappointing with too much pesto, making it soggy. The eggplant parmigiana was not enjoyed by one of us. Desserts included a good cheesecake, a flavorful peanut butter souffle, and a decent waffle. Overall, the experience was a mix of hits and misses in terms of food quality and flavor."
