"I was traveling through Fresno and I am so happy to find this hidden gem! It was similar to a chipotle, just Mediterranean style. You have the option of bowl, pita or a wrap. Inside was very clean, they had nice, friendly and helpful staff. I had so many questions about the various options and they were very helpful! The turmeric ginger lemonade was soooo good! I need this recipe to make at home Seriously, it is one of the best lemonades I have had in a while. I decided on the pita and it was a great decision. So delicious and full of flavor! All of the ingredients were super fresh. I got a mix of the couscous and garbanzo beans, with falafel and various veggies. I highly recommend the zesty feta spread, along with grandmas hot sauce and garlic jalapeño tahini. I wish I had one close to me! Will be wanting to come back!"

"I don 't usually come to Yelp to talk about service but this is the the last straw for me because time and time again I 've had an issue with the customer service at Hummus Republic. I would like to start off by saying the food (when prepared properly) is amazing and I love the casual vibe. But again, I 'm here because of the service. I have come here after work (around 5:15) multiple times when the staff is trying to rush me out since they are about to close. For reference they close at 6. And trust me, I understand wanting to close when you work in food retail because I worked as a cashier/food prepper for years! At 5:15 I see all the food packed up in the back and the trays closed. They keep going to the back to get my meat and veggies that I ask for. They have told me oh we threw out the jalapeños because we are about to close. I find this to be terrible customer service as they are clearly too lazy to replenish or keep the food out until at least 5:45. Mind you, when one lady realized I had a point about the fact it was only 5:15, she went to roast new jalapeños, so it 's not impossible for them to be able to provide what we want. The last incident was again at 5:15 when I asked for spinach and since they were cleaning up, and probably had mixed all their greens, the worker was trying to pick out spinach leaf by leaf which at that point I looked at her and told her just give me the mixed. I don 't know how to recommend this place if this is how the service is."

"The food was good but expensive for what we ordered.The staff made us feel like we entered the store 5 minutes after closing (we didn't) with their lack of friendliness and complete lack of charm.I'm sorry for being such a burden to you by coming in an ordering!On the evening that we visited, all the other cafes and restaurants were packed and vibrant, but this one was empty and we wondered why it was empty, until we ordered and then knew why.I hope you hire some friendlier staff and turn it around."

"The Lite Pita with chicken shawarma, minus the beets, absolutely amazed me. It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Adding the various spicy sauces on the side took it to another level! The Spicy Green Wrap was fantastic as well. They accommodated my special request for onions, which I really appreciated. I can't recommend this place highly enough!"
