"We had an amazing dining experience. From the very warm greeting and exit from the wonderful hostess. She is always so warm, accommodating and is an excellent reminder of the incredible personnel employed at this establishment. It is always the highlight of our dining experience to stop by this amazing restaurant and partake of some outstanding Greek cuisine. Our waiter was wonderful. The menu selection is filled with tasty Greek specialties. The amazing Greek salad is made to perfection. Lamb Chops are seasoned and care is obviously taken to ensure the dining experience is memorable. The food is par excellence, but it's the wonderful personnel that transcends the norm and is top notch class. Every employee made us feel welcome. For example, water was filled timely, dishes removed seamlessly. We look forward to many more occasions and future dining opportunities at this fine establishment."

"I was there on a Friday night with couple of my friends visiting from another country, Because we did not have a reservation we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up which made my friends a bit impatient, but they handed couple of complimentary drinks to make up for the wait so it all worked out fine. The food was just top notch. They prepare salads just as you order so makes a alot of difference. We will return as long as we are in New York in our next business trip."

"I made reservation to get the free glasses of house wine which were fabulous. Our host was also our server. He was gracious, helpful and so cute too. The foodxwas as always, amazing. I brought a friend and this was her time at Bosphorus ... she cooks and knows Mediterranean food very well. She ,was overjoyed at the authenticity of the flavors and graciousness of our server/host. I had the branzino filet Omgosh a huge portion enough for lunch the next day. fair prices. Great easy atmosphere"

"Came here in June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Serving staff all masked, and diners space adequately apart. We shared the cold mezze platter (tuba meze tabagi) with fresh bread (comes with olive oil, feta and a flavored butter) which is a wonderful way to sample all the cold appetizers- perhaps too much for just two. We accompanied our meal with a bottle of sauvignon blanc from Turkey. My partner then had Sarma Beyti kebab, and I had the lamb kebab. Both were delicious. We were unfortunately too full for dessert. Highly recommended"

"Utterly Disappointed by this Place Customer Service. Food was ?OK?. But The waiting Staff is absolutely ridiculous. 1. They charged for bottle of Water, Which we never asked for and they dont have Bottle of water on their menu as well in beverages. Almost $2 for a bottle? Ridiculous.. 2. It was Only 2 people and They have charged me 15% gratuity but their menu says, 15% will be added Only for a Party of 5. The Girl Already decided that We Should Tip them 15%. (Not that I wouldn?t but The Attitude of informing me was rude and Ridiculous) 3. No Spoons or Napkins were given or available on the table. The Experience for being their First time absolutely sucked, And No- They were not busy. Look at the time on the check. I will not recommend this place nor would I go there again. A bad Customer Service is a No Go for me even If their food was OK. Go through the check and Make sure you are charged right, Dont get distracted with the waiting Staff conversation, felt like that was the motive of distraction."

"Went here for the first time for my partner’s birthday and it was SO good. Service was a bit slow as there was seemingly only one person on for the whole restaurant, but we were in no rush. We got the Börek to start (yummm), and some wine and beer. For my main (pictured) I had the Manti. We got some pita with dinner which was perfect with this dish. It also made fantastic leftovers. My partner got the Adana Kebap and it was also fantastic. I don’t think you could go wrong if you pointed to a random item on the menu and ordered it blindly."

"We sat at the bar where we could see the entire restaurant. Great ambiance. Bartender Cecile was very nice and made a perfect Martini. Lemon Greek soup was hot, creamy and delicious, great way to start the meal. Stuffed grape leafs were good; the bechamel that was in them was not lemony enough, good that they served a wedge of lemon. It might have been nice to add some crumbled feta cheese. For an additional $3 we requested grilled pita bread which added to the dish. We will go gain."

"Came here for lunch with 3 others. We got the hummus as an appetizer and all of us agreed it was the best hummus we’ve ever had. It had so much flavor! We also got the Ash Reshteh soup, red lentil soup, vegetable kebab, and dark meat chicken kebab. All the food was seasoned and salted to perfection! The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. We loved all of our food and even though the prices are a little on the higher side, it is well worth it!"

"absolutely tasty filled pitas! fresh, first rate ingredients in the best pita brot we can remember. (the side of the falafel was so-so, but we picked up to the end of time, so I gave them a pass. there are a few tables inside, but this is in the ground an exception (and over eats operation, and they close at six, but this is okay if they can pick up or get the delivery until then. the foil wrapped pitas are large and juicy, so they often put on 200 and keep the food warm until they are ready to eat."

"This restaurant is a huge disappointment. The food was average at best and the prices were ridiculously high. We ended up spending nearly a thousand dollars on just a few dishes, a price that would typically be around $600-700 in NYC. The desserts were inedible. Overall, the dinner experience was not worth it. The service was decent, but the atmosphere was lacking. On the bright side, there is plenty of parking available with free parking options in the lot."

"This is the best place to eat near the Rutgers campus and Easton Avenue! The food is fantastic—fresh and delicious. The owners and staff are always friendly, and the prices are reasonable for such authentic cuisine. You really can't ask for more. I highly recommend the Gyro Sandwich; it’s not too gamey at all. "In response to the Kristina S. and Ali S's review: A few weeks ago, I was enjoying one of the many delicious meals I have had at this lovely family owned business with my 7 year old daughter when I noticed the teenage waitress taking multiple calls from the same person. From the waitresses response it was clear the person asked to speak to the owner, who the waitress explained was not in but that she would take a message. They kept calling back and harassing this young girl who was maturely explaining that she would pass along their message. I could hear them on the other line at this point threatening the waitress saying they would leave bad google reviews if the owner did not call them right away. I am very sorry these ladies did not enjoy their food and did not wish to pay $2 for an item they wished to add to their order but you are not entitled to continually contact a business when they?ve answered you. You are not entitled to be contacted immediately and you are not entitled to harass a place of business. My 7 year old and I were embarrassed by your behavior toward the young lady. Clearly you did not enjoy your experience, so don?t go back. I am happy to go there instead and enjoy the delicious meals I always have that are homemade and fresh. Grecian Corner is not only our favorite place to go, but we use them for catering as well. Bravo to the young lady for enduring bad behavior from adults and bravo to GCC for keeping up with a high quality standard. Support your local businesses, people!"

"Marmaris has been a go-to place for my family for the last 2- 3 years when we have a casual but a special get-together. Food and service have always been consistently good. We were not disappointed this weekend either. They brought a birthday baklava with a candle to my dad without my reminding them! The only one terrible experience was when they could not deal with a family that had a child who screamed and screamed and screamed for an hour none stop!! The family was too clueless and inconsiderate about other people in the restaurant to take the child out of the place. It was awful. Suggest the restaurant have a policy dealing with situations like this since it might affect guests from returning. We nearly did not..,"

"Came here on May 22nd for dinner with a friend. Food was just decent, overpriced for what you get. My friend used to come here often for lunch and said their hummus is not as good as it used to be, and portions noticeably smaller. Server was very sweet. For some reason, there was no tap water available for dine-in at the tables. It was something like $4 or $5 for a drink, canned soda or bottled water (not any fancy kind, either). This is the first time I've ever encountered a sit down restaurant in NYC that has no tap water provided for customers. Would never come back."
