"absolutely tasty filled pitas! fresh, first rate ingredients in the best pita brot we can remember. (the side of the falafel was so-so, but we picked up to the end of time, so I gave them a pass. there are a few tables inside, but this is in the ground an exception (and over eats operation, and they close at six, but this is okay if they can pick up or get the delivery until then. the foil wrapped pitas are large and juicy, so they often put on 200 and keep the food warm until they are ready to eat."

Awesome Chicken Pita. You will use lots of napkins, which is a good thing.

First time getting breakfast from here. Ordered chicken egg and cheese with cooked spinach tomato and green pepper on a whole wheat pita. It was made perfectly.

The dining experience was excellent—quick and affordable. There were plenty of freshly made and prepackaged options to choose from. The facilities were spotless, and the staff was friendly.

The food is enjoyable and reasonably priced. They also offer spinach as an alternative to iceberg lettuce. The pita sandwiches are delicious and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients. The preparation was quick, but it wasn’t very busy when I visited.

Perfect Pita is just right for me. I love the white pita with veggies and spicy hummus—it’s warmed to perfection, keeping the pita crispy and allowing the fresh vegetables to shine. It was so good that I had one for lunch and ended up buying two more to take home! View menu

I had the pita, taking the suggestion of a lovely staff member who assisted me. It was excellent and looked just like the picture (a rarity these days). The veggies were fresh and cold, the meat was hot, and everything was very flavorful. My meal was served quickly, even though I visited during a quieter time. The homemade hummus was fantastic as well. The place was very clean on top of everything. It deserves a straightforward 5-star rating from me.

I ate here twice pizza the first time was good. Today I ordered a steak and chicken pita sandwich. I get a pickup order. Get back to my office. Open it up there's 2 flies in my sandwich. Small gnats still alive. I feel sick thinking about it. I will never eat at a place that is dirty and has bugs. They seemed clean at the location but I never really looked at them in the kitchen cooking it. I usually will look to see if a place as flies in the place. If a food place is not clean it says a lot.

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."

"My friends and I went to Cheesetique for restaurant week. We sat outside. The space was great, the weather was great. Upon arrival, it took a server about 15 minutes to come to our table, and that was only after a friend went inside to ask for someone to service us. The server who had served our friends, who had arrived 10 minutes prior, was bartending. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The drinks came out relatively soon after. The food took a normal amount of time to come out of the kitchen. We got the watermelon, quinoa salad and truffle balls as apps. There was no dressing with the salad, just spinach leaves, watermelon, and quinoa. It was very basic. The truffle balls, although good, were balls of cheese. They gave huge cheese balls but only 3 tiny pieces of bread. We ordered a Mac and cheese for the table which was not salted very well at all. For the main course, we ordered gnocchi, pot pie, and braised beef. The beef and mashed potatoes were the best. The pot poe and gnocchi were not nearly salted enough. All the food came out 'warm ' at best. Dessert was fine. Overall, not at all worth the amount we paid for restaurant week. We were left disappointed. The service was slow. I do understand they might have been short staffed, but even waitresses who were not our servers looked as us, after being there for 15 min and walked past. We asked someone to get us water, which was never brought to us, so overall, disappointed in our dining experience, considering how much we paid."
