"Smile Cafe should be everyone's default takeout Thai spot in Philly. I love them. They've got it all--fresh, flavorful ingredients, quick turnaround, and plenty of strong Thai curry seasonings. It's run by this really adorable Thai family (support small businesses! . Take out only and closed on Sundays (which is SO sad . Portion sizes are fantastic, and the prices are some of the best in center city as well. My menu tips are the drunken noodles or the massaman curry. One awesome thing for vegetarians is that they will do fried tofu for any of the entrees, instead of that gross soft tofu preparation that is typical for other Thai places. I always have leftovers, and at the $12 price point, that's really stunning. They won't ask unprompted, but can make anything to your desired spice level (I love hot food , and if you ask for really spicy food, it will pack a KICK! Do not sleep on the lunch specials--it's basically two mini appetizers plus any entree you want for ten bucks. Perfect for a quick to go meal during a lunch break. Since they are to go only, take the lunch back to work or if you've got a little extra time, go to rittenhouse square or the river and enjoy. For the combination of kindness, quality, quick service, price, and portion sizes, Smile Cafe is tops when it comes to take out Thai in Philly."

"Wait staff was fabulous. Very pleasant experience! Oh my goodness- if in for dinner, get the biscuits!! They are to DIE FOR. My husband had the special- a seafood dish. I had a beet salad with prawns. I recommend the prawns- very good Beets are generally a favorite of mine but I didn’t care for them in this dish. It was a great evening and we would love to return for brunch sometime."

"I had a reservation for 7 pm for 2. Walked in, no one at front reception, no problem, the restaurant was empty except for 2 tables, walked further into the restaurant and saw 2 people working in back. They did not acknowledge our presence, waiting for 3 minutes for someone, anyone, to invite us to sit. Never happened. And considering the last time I was there a few weeks ago, the service was abominable, but I confess, the food was good. We were told then that the chef was busy preparing meals for Uber Eats requests. I said, sure, but what about the folks that came into your restaurant, when should we have to wait 45 mins. between appetizer and entre?? My feeling this most recent time is the employees didn't want to sit us because they were busy with Uber eats folks. Fine, but once again, another great restaurant is going by the way side."

"Amazing! Made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. It's a nice, small, fancy restaurant. Nice selection of wine and dishes to choose from. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The chef even came to greet us! My boyfriend had the soupof the day, lamb lollipops with mint jelly, and sauteed mushrooms and onions dish and a bottle of wine. He loved it! They alsohad vegan dishes to choose from: lasagna and falafel (appetizer). I had to preorder them a few days prior. They both weredelicious! Falafel was done very well and the lasagna was very fulfilling. The price depends on what you order. We spent about$200. For parking, you can either do street parking or in one of the parking lots nearby. It was a walk to get there but once wegot there, we were greeted and seated promptly. Reservations is strongly recommended on weekends, because it's not a huge placeas it only has a limited numbe of tables. We want to try their dinner and movie. Overall, definitely 5 stars! Thank you CLASSfor making my boyfriend's dinner a great one!"

"First time in New Orleans for a quick work trip, and I knew I wanted delicious food while staying downtown. Mr. Ed’s had phenomenal reviews and menu had oysters, while being within walking distance to my hotel. Had phenomenal service with the bartender, Michael, and met Chad who was absolutely killing it shucking oysters. I ordered half dozen raw, half dozen charbroiled, and a cup of the Creole Gumbo. The raw were giant and absolutely the best I’ve ever had in their purest form. Charbroiled were also amazing, and while I was full, I had to try the gumbo and it was worth it. Highly recommend trying Mr. Ed’s. And I’ll certainly be back next time I’m in town. Thank you!"

"1st visit to Stefano's Tapas. Very nice clean place. Friendly servers very helpful with the food selections. Food is small portions. If you want a big meal, you will have to get more than one Tapas. Portion size for me was perfect, but not for my husband. It's expensive like going to Ruth's Chris Steak House or Chandlers but only getting half the food, but the food is excellent. Good selection of wine very nice atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the total experience."

"We bought tokens for whatever your in the mood for. All types of arcade games,bowling, cornhole boards in which you buy your times . Go carts with speed. Food, I had the smash burger which is a double cheeseburger with different flavor sauces with tater tots for $16 bucks. TV screens everywhere....good times. Parking: The place was packed . "My friend and I started with the fried calamari, which was absolutely delectable—perfectly golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. For my main course, I chose the crab cakes, which were also delicious—cooked to perfection and without any fishy taste. My friend opted for the house-made vegetable burger, which looked incredible and tasted even better once I had a bite. The food and service were fantastic, and we had such a great time that we decided to stick around for drinks while watching the gorgeous sunset from our deck table. The entire deck has a beautiful view of the bay, making for a lovely and romantic atmosphere. I would definitely return in a heartbeat!"

"For appetizers, we tried the Artichoke dip with bread, which was a deliciously fresh dip accompanied by plenty of bread—enough for four people! The Mussels came in a flavorful broth and were tasty, although I found some grit in them, so I had to be careful when eating. For the main courses, the Chicken was the highlight of the evening for us—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Arctic Char was a good dish too, but it would have been better with crispy skin. For dessert, we had the Chocolate gateau, which was rich and delightfully bittersweet—definitely one to share. The Grapefruit sorbet tasted just like grapefruit, tartness and all, but the texture was not great; it was icy and fell apart in chunks, so I would recommend skipping that one. Overall, we had a pleasant evening."

"Did I mention that I HATE the new GASTROPUB concept going on in New Orleans recently. They don 't have Abita Amber here and the food is way overpriced for the basic and not so great food. Just like all the gastropubs that are going on in New Orleans why should I bother with mediocrity and when I can just go to a real restaurant or bar where you can actually eat a plate of food that will fill you up instead of being a snack and actually get a selection of more than 4 beers. Did I mention I HATE GASTROPUBS!!! There seems to usually be some decent looking women in this establishment and it seems to be one of the more trendy places to be seen but it just doesn 't work for me and I really don 't like what they did with all the modern renovations to this classic New Orleans building. I really like Lilette and I enjoy dining there so it is very surprising to me that I dislike this place so much. I think it just goes to the core of the fact that I love to DINE and not SNACK and that is why I just can 't seem to stand any of the places called Gastropubs so far (and that none of them have my BEER). It seems to me that I have a far more enjoyable experience eating and drinking at Lilette with far better quality food, a larger selection of drinks, and more comfortable seating so why should I bother with anything at Boligny Taven other than the motivation that women like small plates and go there in large groups. Ahhh it just doesn 't motivate me and I will be staying on the Lilette side."

"To begin, I adore Chef and the Farmer experience from the moment I walk in the door to the sad moment I leave. Your staff is excellent (last time our server was the pretty lady with glasses, long pony tail, thank you who ever you are) and she took such care of us. The time before we sat at the counter watching the line. Lots of fun. Josh or Jason, big guy with beard, was a lot of fun, also! I brought 5 friends, some of whom were afraid of some of the menu items like Tom Tom and left a BIG FAN OF TOM TOM!!! Thank you for your creative inspiring food and atmosphere. "We were originally going to go to another restaurant 2 or 3 doors down, but it was busy and we saw this and it was empty, so we went in. The service was immaculate even with large numbers of people coming in (which happened after we sat down) and the food was delicious. "Unfortunately, this place is much too overpriced for the quality of the food we get 23 for a brunch sandwich with the most brunette and the pleasant portion of the fries.) the somewhat redeeming part of our meal were the jamon croquettes. the sandwiches that we ordered for brunch (drilled chicken and the burger), were badly fun and remembered a high school cafeteria lunchtime. the cup regular coffee was also $5!? this place must either lower their prices to reflect the dishes, or reassess their brunch menu. that was our second time here after we had already enjoyed the Cuban sandwich. with other options in the neighbourhood we will probably not give it a third chance."

"After reading online reviews, I decided to give this restaurant a try. When I walked in, I noticed two Hispanic men behind me commenting on how empty the building was. I went to the bar to look at the menu, but the waiter took the other men's orders first. I waited for 15 minutes, but the waiter didn't even acknowledge me. I felt disrespected and ignored. I hope not all black customers are treated this way when they dine here, but this was my first impression and I will never give this place another chance. I am absolutely disgusted by their service."
