"For appetizers, we tried the Artichoke dip with bread, which was a deliciously fresh dip accompanied by plenty of bread—enough for four people! The Mussels came in a flavorful broth and were tasty, although I found some grit in them, so I had to be careful when eating. For the main courses, the Chicken was the highlight of the evening for us—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Arctic Char was a good dish too, but it would have been better with crispy skin. For dessert, we had the Chocolate gateau, which was rich and delightfully bittersweet—definitely one to share. The Grapefruit sorbet tasted just like grapefruit, tartness and all, but the texture was not great; it was icy and fell apart in chunks, so I would recommend skipping that one. Overall, we had a pleasant evening."

What a great bar! We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. It was fairly quiet when we left, which was nice because we...

This was the worst meal I have ever had. The waffles tasted like frozen toaster waffles and the chicken was overcooked. The restaurant was extremely crowded. View menu

The decor and atmosphere are truly outstanding! The Lobster Benedict was fantastic, and the Bloody Marys had a wonderful level of spice. The Devils on Horseback—dates stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon—are full of flavor.

No complaints at all! I visited during the busy Saturday brunch rush, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I tried a couple of fantastic and unique cocktails, and I loved Freeman's take on both shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. I’m usually wary of ordering those dishes up north, but they truly did them justice.

I made a reservation to dine here for restaurant week and sat at the bar, which was cozy but a bit cramped. I appreciated the bartender's prompt service and their skill in making multiple drinks accurately. The dishes were all delicious, but the mussels appetizer really stood out as my favorite. I've included a few pictures to illustrate why these menu items are definitely worth trying. View menu

Hosted my wedding here May 2023 on the second floor (booked several rooms out) for just under 50 people. It’s been a year and people still talk about the food! Food was delicious, drinks were excellent, and the decor and service were top notch. Lina the coordinator was super helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more and I highly recommend for events. Affordable as well considering most wedding prices!

Super cute brunch! Love the decor and vibe. The staff was extremely accommodating. There was a problem with our reservations but they accommodated my party anyways. The food was tasty. Appetizers we enjoyed the artichoke dip and caesar salad. Love the caesar salad! So fresh snd the dressing was spot on!! I ordered the egg benedict with smoked salmon for an entree. My party had the burger and shrimp with grits which they enjoyed. Would come back!!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
