"The server was rude and wasn’t aware of menu online and when asked about it she immediately became agitated more rude. We ordered oxtails plates for dine in and we were given carry outs. We attempted to dine in but it was incredibly hot inside the restaurant and when we requested more napkins, the request was questioned rudely. We received numerous eye rolls and up and down looks. I thought I was in high school. The rice was hard and soft and the meat appeared to be cooked repeatedly. Upon eating a few bites, I my stomach has been flip flopping since. I love Jamaican food but this establishment is making a mockery of it. My husband always finishes his food and mine but he didn’t eat half of this meal. He said it was horrible. Also the cabbage had a puddle of grease around it. We will not be returning."

"My experience at Queens Caribbean was nothing short of a complete disaster. The food was inedible, with a terrible odor and taste that made me feel sick to my stomach. The dishes were not properly cooked, and some were even burnt and over-seasoned. The portion sizes were small and overpriced, and I felt cheated by the low-quality ingredients and lack of flavor.The service was atrocious, with rude and unprofessional staff who seemed more interested in their own personal conversations than attending to their customers. They were unresponsive to my complaints and showed no interest in making my dining experience any better.The atmosphere of the restaurant was unpleasant, with a foul smell and dingy decor that made me feel like I was dining in a run-down fast-food joint. The cleanliness was also subpar, with dirty tables and utensils that were not properly cleaned. Overall, I would not recommend Queens Caribbean to anyone, and I strongly advise against dining at this terrible establishment"

"4/17/23, I decided to go in person and order instead of door dash; food is usually great. Not this time. I waited about 8 minutes in line to order, paid $27 for large curry chicken w/ extra gravy, side plantain, and coco bread. I received one small leg, 4 broken backs w/ spine/rib bones included. I probably got about 1 -1/2 lbs of rice and beans?? I thought I was getting a large curry chicken and my container had more rice than meat. No whole thigh, no wing, no whole breast. Just a lot of chicken carcass. The place had about 4 or 5 customers when I arrived inside and about 3 more came in after I placed my order, but my order was ready in about 7 minutes. I should have known something was off when my food was ready before people who were already in there. Very disappointing. I wasted my gas and money because I threw it out. Plantain was great. Humble Recommendation: Treat all customers the same, because you never know who you are serving. I order on door dash so I know what usually come w/ large curry chicken. I paid $18- 19 bucks for a plate full of small bones, very little meat and rice. Never again."

"The owner/manager is extremely down to earth and great to talk to. You can tell he really cares about the quality of his food and that it's prepared the proper way.The restaurant is always clean and tables always wiped off. It smells good and there is always someone at the register when you come in.I've had several different dishes here from the pasta, jerk chicken, fried wings, fish, several sides, to my favorite--oxtail. And the truth is the food is good like 7/10, 9/10 on a good day but is overpriced. Oxtail plates range from $30-$36 BEFORE tax and that is ridiculous. I've gotten as little as 4 oxtail pieces in a plate that have thick cuts of fat. Most of the plate is rice and peas with small portions of cabbage and they never give much oxtail gravy. That sucks because they're gravy is as close to perfect as I've had. I still go because I haven't perfected my oxtail recipe to taste how I want and I absolutely love oxtail. This is the closest place to my house. But I'll have to try harder at home with these plate prices. Lol. Their jerk chicken is very good as well, especially if you like it spicy. Pastas are a more affordable option that is pretty good.As far as customer service goes, the manager is the only welcoming face I've encountered being in the restaurant. Everyone else is a little snarky, unhelpful, or just seems to have an attitude. The only exception is when he is there with an associate.Regardless of everything, I will still continue to go at least once a month and hope for the best because it is a well structured restaurant. It's worth giving a try when you're in the area."

"Extremely disappointing experience overall. Upon arrival, we were informed that several menu items were unavailable, including ropa vieja, empanadas, passion fruit shakes, and mango. Half of the items we requested were not available. The food itself was underwhelming, with my wife's fries being cold to the touch and my saffron rice being room temperature and stale. We settled on a cuban sandwich, which was okay but also lukewarm. The shakes took a long time to arrive, and I had to go ask for them. To make matters worse, the customers seated after us were served mango shakes, despite being told they were out of mango. The ratings for this restaurant are difficult to understand based on my experience. While I enjoy Cuban and Caribbean cuisine, I do not plan on returning to this establishment."

"Hands down the BEST Jamaican food I have ever had! Every single bite of food I had tonight was utterly amazing. We ended up all eating off of each other 's plates because we just kept saying oh, you gotta try this too. We had jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, curry chicken, collards, mac and cheese, rice and beans, and plantains. Literally it was all just SO GOOD. I seriously cannot praise the food enough. And the lovely woman (who I am so sorry I missed getting your name) who served us and is the wife of the cook made us feel SO WELCOME. Like, y 'all, we could have easily been sitting around their kitchen table. She was kind and friendly and I wish we 'd come here sooner so I could come back again and again. Sadly, I 'm not local, but if I am ever in the area again, you better believe I am coming back!"

"Sold me a whole fish without sides for $20. You expect the fish to taste good or at least fresh. It wasn't either. They served me cold fish. I had to throw it into the microwave when I came home. After that, I ate something and it was terrible. Your business is also disorganized and basically empty. Not much? Load if you ask me. Wouldn't recommend going here. Many other places you can get Jamaican food and food. I've never been one to leave even reviews about something. But I had to leave a review because it was so bad. Do not believe that the fake reviews here"

"So, I ordered at 6:45 pm. I know they close at 8, but I thought that wasn't too late to order. The dude literally put cold chicken in a styrofoam container and handed it to me. I got the chicken and ox tails, so the containers were put in plastic. It seemed barely warm, but I didn't think to check it before I left. I only drove 5 minutes down the road and the food was cold cold. All of it. The flavor of the meat seemed okay. The cabbage had no seasoning. The rice and peas tasted like it sat out since they opened that morning. Unfortunately, really disappointed."

"Ordered Curry Goat and Shrimp entrees w/rice, plantains, cabbage and coca bread. Unfortunately, it was not an experience that I will repeat. Too many bones in the goat curry and overcooked shrimp. Furthermore, the were literally only the proteins in the curry, barely anything else to make it a more full dish. Plantains were kind of plain, as was the cabbage. I really try to give small, ethnic businesses a try. This is meant to be constructive and to help you represent your country of origin in a more flavorful way."
