"TL:DR This place is gross. Food was expensive, abysmal, and it messed up our stomachs. Go to Yogi's Grill or something instead.Went here with my SO since there was a coupon, and to try some place new. She ordered a half bowl with Tempura Chicken $1), veggies, and brown rice. I got a half bowl steak $1.50), teriyaki noodles 1), and no veggies. With two drinks it still came out to be about $20.What came out of the kitchen was chicken nuggets and gross, boiled, frozen vegetables over brown rice and a dozen small pieces of steak over spaghetti noodles. It was quite possibly the worst meal I've had this year. It looked like my old Army chefs had run out of supplies and were trying to improvise.Worse yet, about 15 minutes later we were both sick to our stomach. SO said she literally felt like throwing up.Avoid at all costs!"

"One never knows what they will experience when they go to Kellians. The tap and bottle list is ever changing! The juke box has seemingly endless selection of songs. The food menu constantly evolves. One thing that remains the same is that you will never be disappointed! Today we had Downeast Apple Cider. Downeast Cider taste the way you would imagine beer should taste if they served beer at an apple orchard! Doesn't taste artificially sweetened, nor tart. Simply delicious. We also had garlic parmesan and terriyaki wings. The wings were cooked well and tons of flavor!"

"I entered the restaurant and unfortunately, I was ignored as the woman at the counter was busy on the phone taking an order. I understand that such situations can occur, but as a DoorDash driver trying to make a living, I simply couldn’t afford to wait after standing there for two minutes. I made eye contact with a man in the back and politely asked if the order on the counter was the one I was supposed to pick up. He smiled and agreed to check, but then the cashier, still on the phone, shot me a disapproving look and even had the nerve to gesture as if to silence me. I've never felt so disrespected by someone I hadn’t even interacted with! This happened around 7:50 PM on June 20th, and once I finish my DoorDash deliveries for the night, I plan to reach out to management. If they’re closed by then, I’ll be contacting them tomorrow morning."

"Been coming here for years, sweet pork, Jamaican jerk and rumbi rice is my go to. Place has gotten a lil too pricy imo, but its comfort food so you know I'm still coming around weekly ? I hear the chicken is a little dry, never had it though, something to be aware of. The island vibes are fantastic, love the decor and the music is dope. They play reggae, ska and other island music. But they keep it pretty relaxed and tame as expected."

"We placed a catering order intended for 32 to 40 people, but only 27 people, including 3 children, ended up eating, and we ran out of food. We were also supposed to receive 2 macaroni salads, but they never came. The steamed vegetables were undercooked. To add to our disappointment, the food wasn't ready when we arrived for pickup, and we had to wait for it. We have catered from them before and had a significantly better experience in terms of both food quantity and service. Overall, we believe we paid too much for what we received."

"The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is enjoyable. The food is also excellent. You should definitely try their amazing pulled pork sandwich or the healthy and delicious Voodoo Chicken Salad. The location in the Denver Tech Center is ideal. It's best to arrive early for lunch as it tends to get very busy. If you're looking for a more relaxed dinner experience, stop by later in the evening."

"The rice bowls here are quite good! I ordered the fire-grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce, while my sister chose the mango shredded chicken with Rumbi rice and orange sauce. I have to say, I liked her dish a little better than mine. However, the lemonade wasn't very impressive. I wonder if it wasn't mixed properly—doesn't it usually run through a machine that keeps it mixed constantly? It definitely didn't seem to be doing that. Additionally, when you try to get lemonade at Rumbi's, it can be tricky to fill your cup because of how the drink dispenser is positioned on the counter—it just doesn’t fit well."

"I visited this restaurant years ago when it first opened, and while it wasn't terrible, it didn't impress me either. Today, I decided to return and give it another chance, but unfortunately, it was even worse than before. I ordered the fire-grilled chicken, mac salad, and teriyaki noodles, but what I received was cubed chicken that wasn’t grilled, a half-frozen mac salad, and spaghetti noodles instead of the promised teriyaki noodles. The meal was bland and unappealing. I brought my mom along, and she ordered the same thing, but instead of noodles, she received Rumbi rice, which had just three or four beans in it. Disappointing, to say the least."

"I am extremely disappointed in the portion size I got for my Blackened Salmon and rice, at 16.99 I expected a White Bowl with a generous portion of rice and Salmon and veggies that I got all the time at the Layton Utah location. On that note the customer service was great, but shrouded in black via the portion sizes my family recieved for the amount of money I spent on Dinner. It was obvious that they were scrimping to off set the wages that they have to pay there employees because of Bought in Bidens ridiculous inflation costs. I've included pictures from inside the Resturant to show the false advertisement being presented. In Layton when dining in a White Bowl was offered. And I got a small silver carry out dish with sublingual amounts of food. Highly disappointed. To make my point clear look at Frank V's review from two years ago his photo shows a picture of how a regular size bowl should look. Read all the one and two star reviews below pertaining to reviews on food and portion size. They are still true. You think management would have made adjustments pertaining to the reviews they recieved. Lesson learned for me. Read the reviews......."

"We visited Rumbi Island Grill after finding a Buy One, Get One Free coupon in Hometown Values Magazine. Unfortunately, when I went to pay, the staff member informed me that her system was down and she couldn't process the voucher. Consequently, I ended up being charged full price for two entrées. Shortly after that, I received an alert from my credit card company, which made me question the reliability of their system. Hypothetically, even if their coupon processing software was linked to another offline system, she could have still honored the voucher by charging me for just one entrée. While the food was quite good, I am concerned about their readiness to accept the coupons featured in Hometown Values Magazine. I recommend that their corporate office look into this matter."

"We love rumbi’s sweet potato fries! We usually go for a bowl with white rice and steamed veggies for the side. The chicken isn’t my favorite choice—I prefer the steak. We are disappointed that it now costs more to have steak as the protein where that wasn’t the case a year ago! Overall, still a good choice for a yummy to-go dinner!"
