"I paid $180 for this meal, and it was a huge disappointment. To start with, the food was stone cold, and I wasn’t aware that we had to cook it ourselves. Our oven was broken, so cooking the meal was not an option. My parents used to order this meal every year, and it always came ready to serve in a tray, complete with salad and apples. I never thought I would receive small, cold containers instead. Why would I pay triple the price just to have to cook it myself?
Given that our oven broke about a week ago, we were left with no other choice, and based on my parents’ previous experiences, I had high expectations that we would be satisfied. To make matters worse, some of the containers were only half full. We had six people to feed, and the amount provided would barely serve three, except for the turkey, which wasn’t even the one we ordered—we requested it to be cut up.
We ended up calling to return the meal for a refund, explaining that our oven was broken and we couldn’t cook it. They did give us six individual turkey dinners, which, in my opinion, ended up being more food than what was in the original containers. Unfortunately, the dinner rolls were rock solid and crumbled as soon as we tried to pull them apart, making them inedible.
I will never order Thanksgiving dinner from here again. It was incredibly disappointing and felt like a huge rip-off! For the amount of food we received, we could have easily gotten everything for less than $30."
