"When you get the least expected service and excuses nothing works. I had a business dinner at this place in Miami, we were seated and took a few minutes our server arrived and kindly offer his expertise. We were there for sashimi, nigiri and some great sake. We order drinks to start out evening, drink arrive and our sashimi and nigiri, we waited over 45 minutes for our food, we noticed other tables that were seated after us were already eating.. The server did try to solve the issue by sharing that that the sushi was extremely busy and they were behind. I understand that but it’s part of the management team to be on top of their game and make guest aware of their challenges. I spoke to the manager and an apology was offer as well they did sent shishito peppers and truffle corn, I was there for sashimi and nigiri however, I didn’t say anything I tried them. Additionally I said let’s try a drink at the Nobi hotel bar and i was serve a fine Cazapa on a plastic cup the bartender share that they no staff to manage their dishes that day. Nobu what happened to you? I let corporate know about the experience,and To make matters worst management contacts me and state states that they tough that everything was ok! Absolutely it’s no ok."

"I had high expectations from Nobu as i am a chef restaurateur, and a foodie.All my travels are food and beverage focused.I know chef Nobu's reputation and i own of his books.On so many levels my visit to Nobu Miami was a disaster.Table, sticky and cheap looking.Banquet very uncomfortable.Tries several dishes that were super mediocre and expensive for what they were.I would expect to find them at a generic Sushi restaurant for half the price at best.After trying a few dishes, i ordered in my desperation, a couple of sushi Maki rolls as i thought that surely they would know how to produce a decent sushi.The soy sauce which i hardly ever use when eating good sushi, was incredibly salty and overpowering.I actually left half the sushi untouched.That convinced me to end my visit to Nobu.The placed looks good on the website but in reality, it's not even close.Dining room was warm and humid. Bathrooms, my wife went but wouldn't use.Table, chairs, generic.Not very clean.Would never go back.Not only I would not recommend, but I'll make sure anyone I know and care about, does not go"

"Location, size, dimension and scale are definitely on point, but the decor and furniture looks like something that might've been bought from Haverty's. Unimpressive and a bit below what you might expect at this price point. Skip the traditional sushi. It is all expensive and the same everywhere. Their fusion dishes are actually fairly interesting and worth trying."

"I am a fan of Nobu cuisine and have dined at their restaurants in other cities such as Atlanta and Atlantic City. The Washington DC location is conveniently located but lacks the atmosphere, feeling more like a converted office building. The music was too loud, but they did lower the volume upon request. Our server was excellent, but it seemed as though they were short-staffed due to the restaurant being almost fully booked on a Sunday evening."

"Was excited to try this place considering it's notoriety of quality and consistent dishes across all of it's locations. We had reservations and were sat immediately. The restaurant had a modern artistic look to it and appeared very classy. It wasn't too loud either. First up were cocktails and the lychee martini was so good we ordered another for dessert. It was very smooth and had a pleasant taste. Many of the menu items were offered as small plates so we were happy that we could try multiple things off the menu and not get overwhelmingly full. We started with the shishito peppers as an appetizer and then followed up with a cold dish and a warm dish. Our cold dish was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was a one-bite dish that was so delicious we wanted to order more but held off to be able to try other menu items haha. Our warm dish was the wagyu dumplings and they were just as good. For dessert, we ordered the warm date cake with gelato and it was unbelievable. I had never seen dates on a dessert menu and with it being made into a cake it was amazing! Our server was on top of everything. I accidentally spilled my drink at some point and he quickly cleaned it up for us and offered new napkins and drinks. He also gave us great suggestions for where to get drinks afterwards so we could continue the night. Overall, it was a beautiful place to enjoy dinner"

"We went specifically for their signature item, a caviar platter and they were out of caviar. The service was awful. The waiter observed empty (bottomless) wine glasses and with the two open bottles in a bucket on the table, allowed us to pour our own wine after he asked if we needed anything and we said yes and he didn 't move or make eye contact. Checking on us was sporadic and by a variety of people without explanation. The bottomless wine was not offered to be replenished even after 30 minutes of both bottles being empty and turned upside down in the bucket."
