(You can file a complaint with your credit card company to get your entire payment back if no sign is displayed in the restaurant notifying you of such payment, I've already done so. The bathroom door always has an out of order sign even though it works perfectly. Very deceptive, go elsewhere. Purchase from a place you can trust."

"I have often gone to the cosmos indian cafe. their kitchen excellent with good portions for very reasonable price, and there are many veg options. their fresh samosas with vegetables, served with fresh samosa sauce and homemade Cilantro-Chutney, are my favorite things. I can also recommend their sweet corma and sweet biriyani that have a delicious sweet, tasty they have a collection of dosa, uthapam and Idli's(Steamed rice cake) with delicious coconut cutney, tomato cutney and sambhar (dal suppe with sweet) are delicious. there are many dishes such as huh curry, huh biriyani and huh tikka for all meat-eaters who want to eat. cosmos indian store cafe is a very nice addition to lawrence customers. the personal was friendly/efficient,Usually is pretty busy at the weekend. the atmosphere is pleasant. good place for Indian food lovers."

"I was taken aback to find maggots, but ironically, I decided to share my thoughts here because I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for 15 years and have never encountered anything that would deter me from doing so. Have they been late? Yes. Have they messed up or missed an order a couple of times in those 15 years? Of course. However, the food has consistently been five-star quality for me, and the staff is incredibly warm and eager to make amends for any mistakes. They feel like family to me. I love their food, but even more, I appreciate their brand and the wonderful people who work there. The woman who took my order today was delightful. I highly recommend this place!"

"I have no issue with the food being served at this restaurant as it was very tasty. However, my concern lies with the cleanliness of the establishment. It does not appear to be well-maintained and the food preparers do not wear gloves. They touch various surfaces, including tables and TVs, which could potentially harbor bacteria before handling the food. With the current variants of COVID-19, I have decided not to dine here again. Although my wife enjoys dining at this restaurant, I will opt to spend my money at other establishments, like El Gordo, where I can personally observe the kitchen and see how the food is prepared."

"The first time we went here for a Sunday buffet, it was outstanding. This time not so much, but in their defense, it was Father’s Day. I just don’t think they anticipated the amount of traffic. I had to ask on three separate trips to the buffet for biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. They were completely out of ice cream in all three machines. There were no desserts to be found. They just couldn’t keep up with the amount of people and food. On a positive note, our waitress was extremely pleasant. They tried hard, the manager kept microphone and back what more they needed to replenish. Some items were just shut not replenished. Would I go back? Yes, just not on a holiday."

"There's a reason I always get tacos when I'm in Los Angeles—every spot is fantastic, and Tacos Por Favor is no exception. These tacos are among the best I've ever tasted. The asada taco was incredibly flavorful, featuring perfectly charred steak. The carnitas taco was tender and savory, while the pastor taco was both juicy and slightly sweet. My personal favorite was the Quesabirria Tacos, which were filled with shredded beef and cheese, then lightly fried on the outside. I did wish they had provided some broth for dipping, as is my preference, but they were still delicious. They also served excellent verde and red salsas, along with an intensely spicy dark red sauce that really cut through the richness of the food. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and definitely some of the best tacos I've had!"

"I had to go to the hostess to ask for a server to come to our table. The server was very nice. She brought the food. There was a long piece of hair in my husband's food. The server was mortified. They re-cooked it, offered us free dessert and did not charge us for our appetizer or my husband's plate. My shrimp was undercooked, but I thought I would just take it home and re-heat it. Typically we eat at their restaurant in Excelsior, but thought we would try this one since we were in the area. This was an unfortunate experience. They were quick to do what they could to remedy the situation."

"Great cozy space. We were looking for a few apps and drinks. Luckily, happy hour is until closing on Saturday nights. $2 tacos and $1 off tap beer plus $5 well drinks which was pretty small needless to say. But all in all, we were pleasantly surprised. "I absolutely enjoy some good, authentic (Americanized) Chinese food, and this restaurant truly delivers! The portions are incredibly generous, offering a wide variety of dishes you’d expect from any fast food Chinese establishment. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer all your questions, and they even have rice noodles, which is a nice twist on the traditional chow mein and just as tasty! The portion sizes provide excellent value for your money. We’ve ordered both in person and through Grubhub, but I highly recommend ordering in person if you’re like me and prefer to see what’s available or to get a better idea of what you’re craving. I’ll definitely return whenever I'm in the area and in the mood for Chinese food. Unlike many other Chinese restaurants that can be greasy and heavy, this place doesn’t upset my stomach at all!"

"Now, onto the food! We shared everything among the four of us, and if we hadn’t known any better, we would have thought we ordered all the best dishes! The Brussels Sprouts were crispy, savory, and perfectly tender, making me question why I didn’t eat more vegetables as a child. They were perfectly tender and fell right off the bone, and the sauce was almost like an aphrodisiac; I can’t quite describe it, but trust me, if you want to impress me, just give me more of that! "I have been going to this locations for years. I always go on Cinco de Mayo for a prickly pear margarita, chips/salsa and tacos. My last visit was awful. I sat in the bar area, where I usually sit. After getting my drink I was completely ignored by waitstaff. NO ONE bothered to ask how my drink was, would I like some chips/to order food, water NADA, NADA, NADA! They were not busy so that was not the excuse. So I decided after I finished my margarita to sit a bit longer just to see if anyone would check on me. NOPE!! An hour passed and I told the manager how disappointed I was and left."

"Was driving by and saw the sign for Cuban food and decided to give it a try. It was an all day Happy Hour for Tuesday so any flavor margheritas were $7 . We had 3 each. Our bartender Jeancarlo was amazing and helpful. And kept the drinks coming. Very good happy hour marg. Didn’t taste watered down. For dinner we had the Fried Snapper with tostones and a salad. The snapper was amazing , fried but not greasy and flavorful but not salty cooked to perfection! We even ate the eyeballs which I heard they eat. Also ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes in a creamy mushroom sauce , I ordered medium they’re ere cooked perfect to temp and I didn’t need to add any salt or pepper to my dish. The place was calm and quiet on a Tuesday but I will be back as I heard they have live music!! Overall enjoyable experience !"

"We were very excited to try out Barrio as we had heard so much about it! I made sure to book a reservation as it can be a very busy place. Unfortunately we will not be going back as it was very disappointing. I will sum up the issues below: We went for the frozen/soft serve margaritas and were told they were out, and changing over the sorbet so we would need to order something else. We expressed our interest to still have one when the became available but they were never delivered. Multiple other tables received them. We ordered chips and queso and were brought chips and salsa. Explaining the mixup to the waiter was not received well, and we waited another 15 minutes for luke warm queso with no apology. This was the beginning of many service issues during our time there. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. Our waters were not refilled for the entirety of the stay. When the food came out I had to go to the bar to get napkins and utensils. This action was not received well by the bartender, but we had already been waiting for 5 minutes after the food had been delivered. We waited 15 minutes to get an extra order of sour cream. After getting the basics needed to eat our meal, but still having no water or drink or being checked up on, we had some mediocre tacos and sides. The highlight was Mexican street corn. Finally, to top things off when the check came we were charged for the frozen/soft serve margarita that never came and salsa we never ordered. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to come pickup the check I walked up to the bar and got the issue resolved. We felt sorry for the server/bartender that was seemingly having to wait on the entire back half of the restaurant/patio but if Barrio cannot handle the reservations, they should not allow them. Not getting utensils, water, drinks, condiments, or orders right is not how you to encourage repeat business."

"Today I decided, after years of having Rosy's delivered both food and their lovely mixers to eat there, live and in person.That was a mistake. I wanted to sit outside. I was told to see the hostess. They weren't busy at all. The hostess seated me, space cadet that she was. The outside tables were nothing but sticky. It was muggy, still no excuse, but not that kind of sticky. But that didn't deter me.10 minutes later, I was still sitting there with nothing no water, no nod from a waitress, no margarita not even a snide look or remark I was invisible. With so many food options in the city, I typically just walk away. Seriously. But today, I wanted someone to know they screwed up, and it wasn't because they were busy, they were just not good at what they do.I sat at the bar. There was now a guy at the hostess station, he looked at me like I had two heads, coming in the back door and heading to the bar. Wasn't listening to me. After a few minutes, he did come over to give me a menu. I told him I didn't need a menu, I had a chance to study it while I sat outside for 10 minutes.That's when it registered. They did try to make it up to me, my drink was free. Which I appreciate. But with so many great Mexican options in the city, won't be here again."
