"After completing a 16-hour shift at a nearby hospital, feeling hungry and exhausted, I stumbled upon jrecks in Massena. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst dining experience I've ever had. The indifference I encountered was appalling. The person taking my order seemed impatient when I took a mere 30 seconds to decide. Despite there being no other customers waiting, he almost demanded my order and didn't offer me the choice of bread type, which is standard at jrecks. In a disinterested tone, he directed the other workers to prepare my order and casually asked if it was for dine-in or take-out before turning away to ask his coworker, "Should I stop this guy or let him go?" It was evident that the rest of the staff around him shared the same unpleasant demeanor. When I inquired about his behavior, the other employee couldn't even respond, looking just as uncomfortable. This is not how customers should be treated. An elderly couple who ordered after me experienced the same rudeness, with the employee making sarcastic remarks about their choice of sandwich. Everyone, including the staff, laughed nervously, further adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere. I would gladly drive an extra 10 minutes to avoid being treated like trash and would advise others to do the same. While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, it's important not to take it out on customers, especially those who may have had a long, tiring day like myself. If I could give this place negative stars, I would solely because of this individual. Let's all strive to never be like him. If the food service industry isn't for them, it's better for everyone involved if they seek other employment, so they don't tarnish the reputation of an otherwise good franchise and make their colleagues uncomfortable."

"Totally Love JRECK subs, and each establishment has been around for decades, no doubt. However, within this timeframe, little has been done as a corporation to revamp, revitalize, modernize, or change the scenery of the place. Auburn 's location especially has very little to offer in way of atmosphere . However, most recently, the fish tank has made great improvements, and there are a bunch of large, live house plants inside which makes this one little corner a cute little nook to sit and eat lunch at. So, Kudos to that part! Fries are actually pretty good, but it 's disappointing they don 't have apple pie bites anymore! Service has greatly improved in that past couple of years as well. Definitely a good visit- however, it can get busy at prime lunch times from local workers trying to grab a quick bite. Vegetarian options: Anything can be veggie here, subs or salads! Kid-friendliness: It 's a neutral facility inside, and the atmosphere would be somewhat welcoming for a child- and they do have child menus/meals. Parking: The parking lot is small and bit awkward, as people might park in different directions or angles, but I 've never had a problem actually finding a spot to park. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a very small step up into the building, and the doorframe doesn 't seem very wide, however, I am sure with assistance that a wheelchair could make it in the facility."
