"When it comes to dinner, every bite was a true delight (hats off to the talented chef team behind the scenes)! Peter, who also takes on the role of sommelier, has a remarkable knack for selecting a diverse and fascinating array of wines, cocktails, and vermouths. The menu is updated frequently, showcasing seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and we have consistently been thrilled with what the kitchen produces. The fresh ravioli with short rib and mushrooms was especially exceptional!
We nearly passed on dessert but were easily convinced to try the pear tart, and it did not let us down! Made with pears sourced from the property, it featured a perfectly buttery crust and a deliciously sweet, gooey sauce, all topped with a dollop of peppercorn cream that left us in awe. Peter paired the dessert with an outstanding Spanish vermouth, and even three days later, I’m still thinking about how well it complemented the dish—it was that remarkable!
