"I went to this restaurant with my wife and daughter, who was home from college. It had just opened and we were eager to give it a try. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of options including raw fish sushi and cooked sushi for American tastes. There were also plenty of steak and chicken dishes to choose from. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the new, attractive decor. We definitely plan on returning in the future."

"I absolutely love this place but last night to us the vibe was off. We came for a special occasion me giving birth and the hostess was rude because we were early which we didn’t mind waiting that’s why we got there early. She forgot to check us in and then asked us what our name was again. I get the same two things every time and last night it was just ok. Usually I’m bragging about how good it was. I got moscato wine and it tasted like it’s been sitting out for a long time. I will never stop going here because I enjoy it for date night so much. Just wasnt to impressed."

"My wife and I both ordered scallops, but after waiting 40 minutes with no sign of our meal, I went inside to check with the server. She informed me that our food would be out shortly. After another 10 minutes with still no food, we decided to leave and went to CAP CITY restaurant nearby instead. My wife called the restaurant afterward to speak to the manager, who acknowledged what had happened and offered a gift card for a future visit. However, we declined the offer and won’t be returning. Here’s a tip for the restaurant: if there’s a problem, it’s crucial to communicate with your guests instead of leaving them in the dark. I would advise being cautious if you choose to dine here."

"Very expensive for what you pay for. I was disappointed to see that all you get upon ordering is a small patty of meat that you could purchase at the super-market for a fraction of the price you pay. You basically have to put together the order yourself with the rest of the elements that make up a burger. The burger looked like what you would get from a high school cafeteria. On a side note the Banana Milkshake is delicious but thats all they have going for them. Spend your money elsewhere, even McDonalds can do better than this."

"Went here with my friend today. We just walked in due to convenience. The place was empty. I understand why. The server (Aloha Z) sat us down and would disappear for long periods of time. I ordered a burger and my friend got steak. I asked for my side to be fries. There was no mention that side is not included. The food was terrible. I asked for just cheese. Got mayo and pickles as well. Once she came back after 15 minutes of us waiting and I told her to please fix it, she gave me a look and brought back the same burger and bun with the sauce still stuck to it. She went away again so I couldn't ask her again. I put up with it. Once she came back we asked for the check. 51 dollars for what? 29 dollars for the burger that I hated (the beef was terrible as well) 12 for fries?!!! And a coke. That being said, I did not leave a tip. I couldn't justify the meal itself let alone the service. The server gave me attitude and said tip was not included in the bill. I ignored. My friend was nice enough to tip her 10 dollars, although I'm pretty sure because she was stared down by the server as she paid. Anyway please spare yourself the money and terrible service. "Overall, it’s a decent place. Service was prompt, food was quick. Good, local beer available, which is a plus. Food was okay. I had a burger, which I’m pretty sure was just made with two frozen Sysco or US Foods patties. The toppings were decentthough. "Honest review Went with a large party to celebrate the retirement of a co worker after 40 years of service on a Tuesday evening. The bartender was wonderful and took great care of us. I had a vodka tonic with lime it was ok : Should have asked for top shelf vodka. You can play lottery games at the bar which is fun. Now for the food. Our server, Eric, was the best. He was so attentive polite. I have a feeling he will go far in this world. : 1. Oysters We had both raw steamed. Very tasty, not gritty, fresh, but small. 2. The kale side salad looked particularly good tasted fantastic. I ordered a lb. of steamed shrimp expecting big peel eat shrimp 16/20 like at Clark's the Lighthouse for the price point $28 a lb. I was disappointed. It was a lb. of small maybe 26/30 or maybe smaller? , no shell, steamed shrimp with some old bay. : I should have asked the size of the shrimp 1st, my bad. If not for the disappointing shrimp, I would have rated it a solid four stars. There was plenty of parking for everyone."

"Beware of this Korean family run deli unless you enjoy being verbally abused and disrespected by the employees.There also a strong possibility that you might develop food poisoning if you eat food from the steam table late in the day.Here's the deal the food is prepared and put in the steamer around 10am its suppose to be kept very hot but what happens is that any food that's not sold is mixed in the next day with the fresh food.If you should get food poisoning contact the New York City Health Dept .they are also under the consumer complaints dept so if they o overcharge you should call You can also complain on google many people will see your review but you'll have to leave your full name.If you're physically abused and suffer injury plz file a police report.I know intimately how these folks operate as they had a deli at 350 west 42nd st right next to a huge condo at first we were all excited to see them just the things you mentioned nice classical music cold salad bar steam table many products including some asian ones our behind the counter people were lovely efficient,no one making fun of customers in spanish.Our problem was there food handling.practices not keeping cold foods cold or hot foods hot several people from the coop got food poisoning and stopped shopping that meant less food turnover more price gouging When the Pandemic came that did it for them as the tourist foot traffic decreased it's a shame that these kind of places can't be run better as they would be such a great addition to the neighborhood"

"Bookhouse Cinema is seriously the best place in Joplin. Period. I've been coming here pretty consistently for the last five years, so it's fair to say that Bookhouse holds a very special and sentimental place in my heart. "There were 3 women working the whole place during a busy lunch and they kept their heads up and made things happen rather than complain about being short staffed (which they were). A 4th showed up while we were there (probably do the dinner shift). They alone deserve 5 stars because all of the Mason area is dying for workers- let alone good ones. The food was also verygood. We got the grilled tenders and then some fried. I personally know the grilled are much better for me but the fried wereoh so good. You can pick the heat level and the sides we got were also good. The fried were a bit too oily for me, otherwiseno complaints. We had to wait a bit given the above detail, but the food was hot and fresh when we got it and I loved thesauces. Worth checking out!"

"Have been to a few other Joellas. We went a little before the lunch rush. The restaurant layout is odd. It seems like it was some other restaurant before and they shoehorned the restaurant into the space. They had a lunch special which was nice. The food came out and was good as expected. However, the chicken tenders were a little disappointing. The breading seemed a bit soggy and the flavor seemed a bit bland and lacked the heat level of Hot . The fries and pickles were good. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean. Good visit but not off the charts good. I liked the one in Hamburg/Lexington more.
