"Beware of this Korean family run deli unless you enjoy being verbally abused and disrespected by the employees. There also a strong possibility that you might develop food poisoning if you eat food from the steam table late in the day. Here's the deal the food is prepared and put in the steamer around 10am its suppose to be kept very hot but what happens is that any food that's not sold is mixed in the next day with the fresh food.If you should get food poisoning contact the New York City Health Dept .they are also under the consumer complaints dept so if they o overcharge you should call You can also complain on google many people will see your review but you'll have to leave your full name.If you're physically abused and suffer injury plz file a police report.I know intimately how these folks operate as they had a deli at 350 west 42nd st right next to a huge condo at first we were all excited to see them just the things you mentioned nice classical music cold salad bar steam table many products including some asian ones our behind the counter people were lovely efficient,no one making fun of customers in spanish. Our problem was there food handling.practices not keeping cold foods cold or hot foods hot several people from the coop got food poisoning and stopped shopping that meant less food turnover more price gouging When the Pandemic came that did it for them as the tourist foot traffic decreased it's a shame that these kind of places can't be run better as they would be such a great addition to the neighborhood"

I love the food at here. 1st floor buffet is the best. Roll cakes are also good.

Merci Market is a bit on the expensive side, but it offers a great variety of products, including plenty of vegan options.

Delicious buffet bar and snacks with reasonable price!!! AND they have 10% discount for Parsons and NYU students. Def coming back!

Sneaky. They charge 3% for non-cash payments but don't advertise it clearly. The register will say one thing; and your credit card statement will have a higher number. View menu

The food quality at this restaurant is subpar and overpriced. Even the mangoes, which were barely ripe, were way too expensive. However, the staff members were friendly.

The folks who work there are honestly so nice! I get lunch there frequently and am always happy with my experience. Their sausage egg and cheese bagel is unbelievably good. Lots of food options no matter what you're hungry for!

This restaurant is a convenient option for a quick meal or coffee between classes at the New School. The service is good, but sometimes it can be quite busy and your order may take a while to arrive. I have tried the hazelnut coffee multiple times and it is decent for deli coffee. View menu

The hot food downstairs is absolutely delicious. It’s far better than New School Café, and the prices are the same. While it is definitely on the pricey side and not something I would do every day, it’s comfort food that brings back memories of home and my mom. Great job, merci! Keep up the fantastic work!

This restaurant charges nearly 4% extra for any card payments (credit or debit) for food that is only refreshed every 2 to 3 hours. It’s located in a college area and charges over $12 per pound. I recommend avoiding this place and instead checking out a nearby deli on 7th Avenue or 5th Avenue for fresher food options.
