"I had heard about this place and when I found out that the friends I visited lived only one block away, I had to check it out. we had made a reservation for 9 o'clock, and when we checked in, we were told that the group at our table was ended and would soon be done. we were happy to sit at the counter next to the window front and the menu while we waited. we waited around 20 minutes and the hostess brought us free glasses champagne to thank us for waiting for this. the bar and restaurant itself are beautifully decorated and I really enjoyed taking only everything. I got the inverness (a cocktail) and it was delicious and beautifully presented (like all the other drinks.) the only thing that didn't interest me in this place was eating that we got two different types of oysters that were delicious, but both of the crudo plates we got (the yellow dick and the scallops) were a little underwhelming. the scallops had a truffle sauce on them, and although I love truffle, it was a bit too much. And the yellow **** just felt as if there was something missing, as the aromen did not really complicated. overall it was still a great experience and much fun, and would definitely recommend if they are in williamsburg!"

We had a late night reservation for drinks here and had a great time. Their cocktails are excellent. They have a speciality with Absinthe but that’s only part of the story. Great staff and drinks.

My cousin and I dropped in for some daytime cocktails and was not disappointed. The drinks and food was very good and the decor and theme of the place was so gorgeous. The service was very good and everyone working was very helpful and kind. I hope to come again if I visit NYC!

amazing oyster bar with phenomenal cocktails. it is easy to see why this place is on the Michelin list. the personal is friendly, knowledgeable and the place feels like it is directly from a roman. tons of fantastic, niche absinthe’s and spirituosen. I love it here. thank you maison premiere! View menu

I love this bar. The vibe was cool. The drinks were amazing. We only got a few appetizers at the bar. Everything was delicious. I plan on going back with my husband. If you love great cocktails. This is definitely the place to be.I will also add that the hostess was really nice and got us seated right away.

We sat at the bar for a weekday happy hour. The drinks and atmosphere were both great! The bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable and made us some fantastic drinks. We ordered oysters and they were some of the some of the best I've had in a while. I'd like to go back and try some of the other menu items!

we live in ues, nyc and have decided to make the trek after brooklyn to maison premiere, because my wife was in the mood for some good seafood and oysters. this restaurant was fantastic from the NOLA vitubes to the amazing cocktails, with the most important was eating delicious! every single article we tried made us more excited to try the next court we ordered. all employees were super nice and helpful. we would definitely come back for a date night and spend some more. make sure that they will make a reservation before going, as they are very popular and busy. Stumbled upon this place while walking around in the neighborhood. We asked for bar seating and they said it’s reservation only. But we’re kind enough to give us a seat outdoor at the back. Walk outside and you will be transformed into a different world. Tons of greenery and old rustic vibe with gravel on the floor. I ordered an absinthe based cocktail recommended by the server and she was spot on. The server also educated us on sazerac history while prepping the drink for us. This place is known for oysters which we didn’t try, but every table had an order of oyster. Returning soon for oysters !!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
