"We had the karaage, tempura vegetables, prime suspect and boddy and soul specialty sushi rolls; and spicy garlic miso ramen.This was the first time we had ramen at shizen and I would say skip it, it was so disappointing that we had to order another sushi roll even though we were full just to change the taste of the ramen on our palate as that was the last thing we ate and didnt want our meal to end on a low. The karaage was decent but we really liked the spicy agave aioli that came with it, the tempura vegetables were really good, but the portion size for both karaage and tempura vegetables was smaller than I expected. Shizen is known for their sushi and they never disappoint with it, both the prime suspect and the boddy and soul sushi rolls were really good. I liked the prime suspect just a tad bit more than the boddy and soul.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegan"

"I ordered takeaway right as the doors opened. The hostess was so nice and my order was completed incredibly quickly. I had the Shizen Shittake mushrooms, Pokai roll, and Kailua roll. The rolls were fantastic but the mushrooms? WHAT?! I wish I would have ordered more! I couldn’t stop audibly “mmmm”ing after ever bite! I had never had a tofu stuffed mushroom but I am for sure going to try and make them at home, now! The rolls were super fresh, flavorful, and absolutely beautiful. The sauces was delish! While they were both delicious, if I had to choose, I think I like the Pokai the best. Definitely don’t skip out on this restaurant. I can only imagine everything on the menu is just as tasty!"
