"We’ve been to this Vinny’s many many times over the years and it was decent. The original location in Spotsy was always solid, but it’s too far for very casual Italian food, so this one and the one on 610 are the only options for Vinny’s in Stafford. The one on 610 has been a little inconsistent over the years. This one seems to have recently changed hands and it seems they may have gotten taken over by the family that kinda started all the Italian joints around here and they refurbished it and really improved it. The old, dingey Vinny’s that was covered in fruit flies is no more! This is a new joint with nice, new menus (still all the same stuff on the menu), new tables, floors, colors on the walls and those sagging ceiling fans have been replaced too.The food on the day I visited was really good! I tried a slice of pizza about a year or more ago and it wasn’t very good, but on this trip I decided to try a cheese slice and it was great! Not as good as my favorite pizza, which is J’s (right around the corner in the same plaza), but it was really good! They had a tricolor pasta dish on their lunch specials menu that I tried and it was really good too. The sausage in it was flavorful and the sauce was excellent! I also got a side salad and it was just “ok,” it definitely wasn’t as good as their side salads used to be (not very fresh lettuce).Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and I would return."

Mediterranean

"As I sat on the patio at Lavash Marietta, I noticed a happy couple enjoying the sunny weather, chatting and smiling in the shade. They looked like they were truly enjoying their experience, so I decided to give it a try. When I approached the menu, a charming girl, who I believe was Persian, recommended the daily special. I’m so glad I took her advice! Although I can't pronounce the name of the dish, it resembled an open-faced chicken gyro served with rice, freshly chopped and dressed vegetables, hummus, and pita bread. To simply call it "rice" would be an injustice; it was the best rice I've ever had. Everything on the plate was absolutely delicious and felt incredibly healthy. It reminded me of what Chipotle is to Mexican food, but far superior. I also decided to try the dessert, which I also can’t pronounce. It was a first for me and added to the unique Mediterranean dining experience. The dessert featured a fruit reminiscent of mango or orange, coconut, a touch of walnut, and a hint of saffron. It was an extraordinary treat that complemented the freshness and wholesome essence of my main dish. The biggest surprise came with the bill. I realized I had spent more at McDonald's for a meal and an ice cream previously. If you’re in search of an authentic Mediterranean meal that is healthy, hearty, and served in a clean and pleasant environment by friendly staff, Lavash Marietta is a must-visit!"
