"The food quality has always been consistently excellent and reasonably priced. Normally, service is also spot on. However, today was an exception. There was no line at the front when we arrived, and instead of ordering at the bar as we typically do, a server directed us to find a table and assured us he would take our order.
Unfortunately, we ended up waiting 45 minutes without even a glass of water on our table. We had to remind the staff about our drink orders, especially after noticing that a group seated 15 minutes after us received their drinks first. To add to our disappointment, the food was not prepared according to our requests, and one person in our party was left without any food while the rest of us were served. Additionally, we didn’t receive our ketchup or aioli with the sweet potato fries, and by the time it finally arrived, we had already finished eating.
Today’s service definitely fell short of what we’ve come to expect at this restaurant. We expressed our concerns to several waitstaff and eventually to the manager, who made amends. Despite this mishap, we still plan to return as this is one of our favorite spots in the area."
