"There is a large selection of sausages, it was hard to pick! I ordered the platter with hot Italian sausage and Mission Street (with bacon), it came with pickled veggies and delicious mustard. I enjoy them although the sausages were a bit too salty for me, maybe it was because I didn't have a bun...my companion ordered a sausage in the bun but the bun was just okay. Their beers my son and husband ordered were good and cold, I didn't drink. When we arrived at 12:10 pm the restaurant was empty, but the staff were cleaning diligently, we were seated right away at a large outside table, it was very relaxing, overall, it was my first outing since SIP to eat out, it was fun and memorable."

"I've visited twice: once for brunch, which I wouldn't recommend given the price—it left a lot to be desired and wasn't particularly fresh or tasty. Last night, I tried the dinner buffet featuring Prime Rib. I have a question for the meat-cutter: Why did you serve me two thin slices that resembled more of roast beef than a single, thicker slice that would actually be more fitting for Prime Rib? I can't help but be disappointed, especially since I was really craving some good Prime Rib. I also tried the pork ribs, which were seasoned in a way I didn't enjoy, a piece of fried chicken that was nothing special, and some cod. The mashed potatoes were relatively decent for a buffet, but the standout dish was definitely the glazed carrots. I was especially disappointed to find out that crème brûlée is only available on Saturdays, and I happened to visit on a Friday. The bread pudding was okay, but it couldn't satisfy my craving for crème brûlée. You might be wondering why I'm giving this place 4 stars despite leaving feeling disappointed and unable to fulfill my cravings for Prime Rib and crème brûlée. It’s probably closer to a 3-star rating, but the excellent service and the cleanliness of the establishment make a difference. Ultimately, $30 doesn't go as far as it used to. So, if you're in the area, it's worth a visit, but just adjust your expectations."

"A million miles better than the old Amsterdam Burger. The food was really delicious we had the salmon burger which was a beautiful filet of salmon with lettuce, onions, tomato on a nice large roll, and the chili cheese burger which was awesome with jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, onions on a large brioche type roll. Kosher veggie cheese doesn't usually melt nicely, but this was perfectly melty and delicious. Doesn't melt like real mozzarella on a burger, but for kosher, this was the best since Pardes in Brooklyn. Can't wait to go back and try another special burger. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT."

"I’m always tagging along with girlfriend and her family to go to places to eat in philly. They told me that this has been a place they went to since they moved to America. It’s a very nice German restaurant/pub. I have never tried German food before but am always down to try something new and I know they have good taste in food. We were seated an order some beers. The beers were very food and I’m pretty sure they brew their own beer. We order some two appetizers which were the shrimp cocktail and the stuffed mushroom. The stuffed mushroom was amazing. Highly recommend ordering it! (It may or may not look appetizing but it’s really good) For the main course we all got the mushroom schnitzel which comes with two sides. To put things into prospective on how good it was my plate was empty. I was stuffed and ready to go home. But my girlfriend order the apple stratal for dessert and there was no way I wasn’t going to not try it. Needless to say, since we only order one we were fighting over the dessert and trying to finish it before the other could get another spoonful. I understand now why they always go out their way for years to come here and I’m happy to leave a good review"

"We visited Thurns as part of a meat lovers tour, and it turned out to be my favorite stop among the four we visited! We got a behind-the-scenes tour where we saw how sausages are made and even checked out the smoker. The owner gets up twice a night to tend to it—it's truly a labor of love. We had the chance to sample a variety of their meats. They're known for their ham salad, which is fantastic, but I also tried dishes I never thought I would enjoy, like beef tongue and blood head cheese, and both were surprisingly delicious! I will definitely be returning!"

"We decided to share the “Kielsalat” and the Prost House Tower, as it featured a variety of items in a single portion. That turned out to be a mistake. Instead of serving the salad first, which was far too large to finish before the main course, she brought everything out at once. Unfortunately, the sausages (bratwurst, knockwurst, Polish, and Luxem­bourg sausages) were overcooked and tough, having been left on the grill until they were charred and dried out. This makes me think there’s no real chef in the kitchen, just a line cook preparing pre-made meals. Given the prime location of this restaurant, I don’t believe it will last long. It seems more like a tourist trap than a quality dining establishment. I certainly miss the previous owners."

"for the first time visit this restaurant, although we have lived here for a long time. we are not big German food buffets, but enjoy an occasional brat for a step change. my daughter talked about the German history with my son, the story major. So we wanted to have German meals to go with the talk. by we found this restaurant and tried it. the atmosphere was interesting with pictures, graffiti and kennzeichen at the walls. if they have ever been in one of our river city cafe hamburg restaurants (they have great burgers, they will understand the atmosphere. our waitress was brilliant and explains the different meal times, as we were relatiw newcomers. we ordered various meal times so that we can make our own rehearsal (see pictures.) the whole food was great and the portions, generous. we talked to a lady who checked on our table, I think was a owner. she said they were here since 1984 and soon it can end. the restaurant is located in the old part of the beach, which goes through big changes. all old buildings are sold and demolished by the owner. then they plan to rebuild modern, but boring, strip-style spot fronts as part of the city, aka benefits from the history. they do not know if they will try to reopen after their stay. another part of myrtle beach pastness will soon be gone. we are planning to return soon before the closure, which I believe in a few months. So if you want to try a delicious meal, hurry up."

"It's becoming increasingly rare to discover a deli that maintains its own distinct standards. I've visited this place several times, and their hot dogs are exceptional. I've also sampled the pastrami on a few occasions—it's delightfully smoky with a nice peppery bite. However, there was one time when it was a tad too salty, which hints that it's made from scratch and may vary a bit with each order. You place your order at the counter, and they call your name when it’s ready."

"Our family ate there on the night before Thanksgiving. We chose to eat outdoors, where several tables are available. It was a pleasant evening in terms of the weather and we didn't need a heater. There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children. Everyone enjoyed his/her meal. The portions were generous and delicious. We shared a few desserts and they were all good. It is a bit pricey, but it is also kosher and in Manhattan, so no surprise. We will be back!"

"This was the worst bar I’ve ever been to in America. I had to stay in the area for two and a half hours on a rainy day, so I decided to walk into this bar and order some drinks and food. The two bartenders were completely unfriendly toward me — they didn’t even smile. Meanwhile, they were smiling and chatting with other customers sitting right next to me, asking them if they wanted more drinks or food. But when my water and drink were empty, they didn’t even glance at me. Every time I tried to speak to order something, they would walk away. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome — in a way I’ve never experienced before. I thought that being close to a good college in Boston would mean they were used to meeting all kinds of people and would be more friendly, but I was wrong.
