"we haven't been back to spoon for a long time. we enjoyed our refined meal very much. we had weeping and interesting gin cocktails, followed by a winter salad and a start of sushi packed with crab meat in thunfisch with a wasabi cream sauce. the bread basket was wonderful with a variation of maisbrot, biscuits and baguettes. the shellfish stew had more snuggle and garnel than I had ever had in a similar dish of bouillabaisse and cioppino, with more sweet and less garlic. my wife had made the bun with a mushroom plug, which was surprisingly excellent, her choice on her limited palate. we were very full and have chosen kokosnusseis with chocolate sheds and sky sorrow. our only complaint is that the menu always has a lot of interesting idiosyncrats. the printed online menu does not reflect the menu of the evening and declares the choice of my wife of huh. it would be helpful if a current menu would be available, so there are no surprises for those who have a certain taste."

"As Steamboat residents, Aurum is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is phenomenal, from the appies like Korean Fried Chicken and duck wings to the entrees like braised short ribs and steaks. And don't miss their house rolls. During the summer months, you cannot beat Aurum's waterfront garden patio on the Yampa River. The service and staff are excellent they organized a dinner for 16 of our closest friends for my wife's milestone birthday that everyone raved as one of the highlights of the week. Reservations are a MUST during busy times especially ski season."

"The service was excellent. Our waitress was super accommodating and checked on us very often. The menu is incredibly huge, we literally spent 20 minutes deciding what to get. This is both good and bad because you have lots of options to fit your mood,but the quality for some of the plates are not exceptional. For instance, one of our pastas tasted pretty bland. The Jamaicanshrimp plate was good and had some decent spice, but pretty inconsistent with some shrimps having shell pieces and otherswithout. Whichever plate you decide to go for, you should definitely finish off with a slice of cheesecake. The ultimate redvelvet cake slice is very good and can easily feed 4."

"The service and food was great. My wife and I felt the price was fair for a family of four. We went because they were holding a Free Family NYE celebration. It was very festive and the staff was on point. I just felt the description of what was being offered varied from when we got there. The description mentioned that the count down would be posted on all TV monitors and people had to come by the bar to do a the countdown instead. The description mentioned complimentary champaign or miller high life for the adults. That wasn't offered but they offered sparkling cider to the kids. However, my family still had a nice time and the kids had fun and we were able to put them in bed by 9 pm."

"Really good for a chain restaurant!. Well, my son said it best the last time we were here Cheesecake Factory is an over achiever! Boy, did he ever hit the nail on the head. The pages and pages of selections is truly overwhelming. I've been here about 4 times and have never been disappointed. The lettuce wraps are as good, if not better than PF Changs, the fried mac and cheese is pure evil, the lemon salmon was fresh and lightly lemony....I could list everything I've ever eaten here and not one complaint about the taste. The cheesecake is to die for also although we always take it to go because we are too full! I wish I could remember the name of the server I had the last time I was here he may have been the best server I have ever had. He went above and beyond with his prompt service, recommendations and just overall pleasant attitude! <br/ <br/ My only complaints are that the martini's are way too expensive at $11 a pop, but they are good. I'm sure everyone knows about the wait times. This is not the restaurants fault that they are so popular, but I don't see how people will actually wait for 2 or more hours to eat dinner. Poor planning on their part!"

"Food was fine like any other cheese cake factory. The menu is extensive and they have something for everyone! I got the vegan cobb salad and it was huge!!!! Definitely shareable. Full of fresh ingredients and very good! Appetizers were great hits at our table! We got the calamari, spinach dip, and the avacado egg rolls! All were great! Service by our waitress at the table was great! However the front desk host seemed to have mixed up our large party reservation and didn’t take note of the phone call (day of) to increase from 6 to 9 (like we were told to do well before the day of our reservation). And then we show up and told we would have to wait an hour, it just didn’t sit right. Eventually after waiting nearly 45mins to the hour (like they said) we were seated. Just sad to see other large groups getting seat before us when we were definitely all there and there before the other party. I am very understanding on busy nights, but this service by the host staff up front, was less than subpar and the communication method was not friendly. It could have been better. Guess just know if you have a group over 6, you will likely have to wait an hour for them to make adjustments, doesn’t matter much when you call ahead."

Cocktails are good but NO GARNISHES??? and I asked for a cocktail and they were out of the juice needed when grocery stores are everywhere and it was the beginning of the night. We booked a reservation for and were super excited to finally have a dinner...since the last times the kitchen was already closed at We booked at and were told after given full menus and ordering a charcuteire board that they are unable to prepare any grilled or fried items...SO that was pretty much the entire menu. So we made reservations at Elm and Magnolia while finishing our drinks and headed over there for a wonderful dinner experience and awesome live music. Prohibition time to step up your game, I know you potential is there!"

"Merchants is part of the lively downtown Lawrence scene which makes it a fun place to have dinner. The menu is varied with choices for nearly every discerning diner. We had both salmon and cod and the preparation was excellent, especially the salmon. The salad was excellently and creatively prepared and the homemade dressing served as a nice complement to the variety of greens. Service is always excellent at Merchants and this evening was no exception. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect dining experience was that I was seated under an air conditioning vent and I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the dining experience. Nevertheless, it was a near perfect dining outing and a restaurant that I can highly recommend"

"WE have been to BElly Q since they opened and always enjoyed it. They recently changed the menu and the selections were limited and the food not up to their usual standard. The noodle dishes were supposed to have meat in them and the dishes were very small with almost no meat. The food in general was greasy and unappealing. It seems as though they have changed their focus from food to drink. On a Saturday night at 8:00 pm, the restaurant was half empty. Not a good sign."

"We have really liked this place in the past. They change up their menu frequently. This can keep it interesting but that wasn't my experience this time out. Was really wanting their salmon. It came with a tomato bacon salsa which I don't feel pairs well with salmon. It was overcooked although my request had been to have a translucent center. I should have sent it back, but I was so tired, I just wanted to move on. My husband got the fish and chips which he said were great. I had some of his fries, also great. We'll go back because this is a great spot with usually really good food, friendly efficient staff."

"I need to preface all of this by saying we did arrive later than expected for our reserved time frame but the experience we had was not justified just because we arrived late. The woman at the front counter was very rude to most of our party. We were celebrating a birthday and had about 10 guests total. When we asked about starting a second lane, the system for purchasing a lane versus using a lane was unclear and when asking for clarification the staff was rude and forceful. When we decided against purchasing another lane because it was not beneficial for only 2 people to be playing on a whole other lane, the staff acted like we were not allowed to sit with our friends’ birthday party and socialize unless also bowling. Then the wait staff/bar server was rude as well. They acted put out by every order and like we were an inconvenience to even ask for drinks or food. The food was overpriced and lack luster for what it is. The only reasonable staff in the building was the bartenders themselves but if you have a lane it feels they prefer you to order from the server rather than coming to the bar.When we decided to forgo another round of bowling to check out the upstairs arcade, I ordered another drink. As I received my drink the waiter rudely told me to make sure to remember to pay my tab when I finished at the upstairs arcade.Overall I would rather go to a dive bar style bowling alley than here again because it’s very overpriced and the staff acts as if they can’t be bothered to even have customers. Who knows maybe it’s just the Monday staff but I was very unimpressed."

"New favorite place for happy hour! This may be a ?tacos only? place, but each taco has so much flavor!! Each taco takes you on a completely different adventure than the last. The tacos are small and pricey, but totally worth it! The details that go into the flavors all the way down the the plating were just impressive. One of the best margaritas I?ve ever had. You have to try the Korean Fried Chicken, Pork Belly, Seared Shrimp, and Braised Short Rib Tacos!! The Queso Guac were solid choices as well. We can?t wait to go back and try the Smothered Frites Street Fries. Highly recommend for some artisanal tacos!!"

"We dined here for our anniversary and had made note of that on our reservation. The morning of our reservation the restaurant called to confirm and wished us a happy anniversary. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were promptly greeted and again wished a happy anniversary. After being seated our server also wished us a happy anniversary! Our server, Rachel, was fantastic. She was prompt and attentive and also made great menu suggestions. Our meals were delicious. We had the traditional calamari and a salmon roll for appetizers and for dinner my wife had halibut Chesapeake and I had the crab cakes. Everything was excellent and the portions were perfect. After our meals our server brought a sparkler and two complimentary glasses of champagne in celebration of our anniversary! It was unexpected and really added to an already great experience. We highly recommend Chesapeake Inn! It’s not often that we go out to eat and are completely satisfied with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Chesapeake Inn checks all of those boxes. If you’re thinking about it… just go!!"

"We ordered prepared meals for dinner and they were absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed chicken parmesan, grilled chicken with yams and artichokes, buffalo chicken bites, fried rice, and of course, cookies, toffee, and a slice of German chocolate cake. Our whole family was delighted. Everything was incredibly tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the place itself is charming. We'll definitely return to try lunch and plan to have them cater an upcoming event, not to mention making them our go-to for take-out dinners. Thank you!"

"My favorite Sushi ever. Great atmosphere, our server the last few times, Andy, is awesome and so knowledgeable! I don't eat raw fish, or like very spicy foods and I have never had a problem with ordering delicious food. My faves: Fuji Yama Roll, the Brussel Sprout appetizers is life changing, Crunchy Calamari Mango Roll and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I was not a fan of the Octopus and Sweet Shrimp nigiri pieces too tough for my preference."

"We visited The Inn for a vacation during leaf peeping season in early October. It was our first time in the Montgomery area and we were welcomed by Nick and Portland. It quickly became clear to us that The Inn was a special place! The cozy lounge was filled with antique treasures, soft couches, and chairs, and the dining rooms and bar were inviting. Our room was adorned with rustic yet retro art and had a very comfortable bed. Jason, the talented chef and co-innkeeper with Nick, was passionate about his unique cooking style and shared his experiences with us. Our experience at The Inn was truly wonderful and we wish Nick, Jason, and Kinga all the best in the future. We look forward to returning to The Inn again! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and hospitable - kudos to The Inn! The food and drinks were top-notch with a homemade touch, earning a five-star rating."
