"Right from the start, the extensive menu should have raised a red flag. They offer Chinese, Thai, and a variety of traditional Japanese dishes, all alongside a full sushi menu. That's quite a lot to cover! I opted to sample a bit from each cuisine. Here’s a breakdown of what we received: 1. **Shrimp Tempura**: The shrimp was over-fried and greasy, while the accompanying zucchini was rock hard—almost like a hockey puck. I could tap it on the table and hear it bounce. 2. **Teriyaki Chicken Baked Rice**: This dish had no trace of teriyaki flavor. Teriyaki is typically sweet, but this tasted completely bland, with only a hint of garlic sauce. The chicken was dry and unappetizing—very disappointing. 3. **Tom Kha Soup**: Right away, I was concerned by its stark white color. It seemed to be nothing but coconut milk, overwhelmed by the spice from the little red Thai peppers. I’d rate the spice level a 9/10—completely inedible. 4. **Potstickers**: These were primarily sticky dough with very little filling. 5. **Szechuan Wontons**: These were drenched in Szechuan peppercorns, to the point where one bite left my mouth feeling numb. They were also incredibly dry, which was quite off-putting. 6. **Salmon Nigiri**: We ordered a couple of pieces for my daughter, but they looked nearly gray. After the experience with the other dishes, I chose not to take the risk of trying it. After receiving our order, we called the restaurant to express our concerns. The person who answered mentioned that the manager wasn't available and claimed that it was all a matter of taste, adding that he had never received any complaints about these dishes. I’m sharing some photos of what we received, and I can confidently say that we will not be returning to Little Wok again."

"Don't be put off by the exterior of this little gem. Once inside you will find a lively classic family run Chinese restaurant, Of all the vegan dishes we loved the Dim Sum. The fake Pork Buns were the most amazing. As a whole food plant based consumer the decadence of a sweet, white flour steamed bun filled with sweet sauce and bits of stuff that tasted like pork was quite decadent. We had not eaten Dim Sum for over 10 years but finally we can! The other vegan dishes are good and typically very oily, but you have to come here for your once in awhile treat!"

"No way, buy the ticket take the ride. First and last time. Pot stickers were OK. Chow mein bad, house chicken bad, some meat thing we had bad. Hot Sour soup good. Service nothing special or memorable. Delivery seems to be the thing here. Basically only been here this one time. If your house chicken is blah then try something dont just leave it that way. Delivery delivery delivery"

"We ordered the smoked duck and the spicy hot pot lamb, and both dishes were outstanding. The service was friendly and extremely patient. For cocktails, we tried the Thai basil gimlet and cucumber pressed sake, both of which were excellent. We also enjoyed the house sake served from a unique sake dispenser, which was a fun touch. They have weekly specials listed on a board outside and offer a nice blend of American-Chinese cuisine alongside fantastic authentic Chinese dishes. I will definitely be returning!"

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"I have mixed feelings about their dishes. Some of their dishes like the pad see ew and tom yum weren't so bad. Though it'd be nice to see some other ingredients in the former other than just noodles, broccoli and your choice of protein. The noodles were also really chopped up and short for some reason. We also ordered this stir fry dish where you get to choose your sauce and protein, but it doesn't tell you what else is part of the dish. I was very disappointed by this one. Not only was the taste not so impressive, but the portion was small and it didn't look that enticing. Not sure if I'd like to try their other dishes in the future."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic with generous portions and excellent value for money. The lobster noodle and ginger spring onion chicken seem to be popular choices among diners, and they did not disappoint. The fried pea shoots were also delicious. The lobster was juicy, sweet, and cooked perfectly, making it one of the best I've had in a long time. At just $55 for twin lobster with noodles, it's a steal. Three dishes for 4 people was plenty. The restaurant has a great local atmosphere and friendly staff, typical of a long-standing Chinatown establishment. I highly recommend this place."

"Called at 1:45 to find that they were closing at 2, BUT the man who answered the phone, I assume the manager or owner, said the restaurant was still pretty full so I should go ahead and come on in and they 'll take care of me. He was so friendly and took my name to make sure I was accommodated. Arrived and had so much fun talking with the lovely friendly Malaysian auntie at the register who also served us our food. I used to live in Southeast Asia and this restaurant hit the spot! So much nostalgia eating these very authentic dishes. Hainanese chicken was great, flavor was spot on, chicken very tender. and they have kangkung! Asian water spinach, also know as 'empty heart vegetable ' in Chinese). I 'm not Southeast Asian but I love this vegetable so much that I know it in three languages, haha. Great teh tarik 'pulled ' milk tea) too. Everything was delicious and this restaurant is now going on the roster of my regular dining-out places. Thanks!!!!"

"The ambiance, with its low lighting, created a romantic atmosphere, and we will definitely be returning! The food was fantastic! I found the drinks to be overly sweet, but I enjoyed the Saketini, which was great if you like strong cocktails. However, the piña colada and Mojito tasted more like simple syrup and coconut cream. Overall, it's an amazing spot if you know what to order! I recommend trying a little bit of everything."

"I'm still on my hunt for some decent Asian food here in Atlanta (not sure why it's so hard to find). We decided to try Green Ginger mainly for the Chicken Pad Thai, which turned out to be just okay. The Sesame Chicken with fried rice was similarly mediocre. I think if we dine here again, we'll order plain rice and add our own soy sauce, since it seems that's what they did with the fried rice we got (I'm more accustomed to having eggs and veggies mixed in). On a brighter note, we did find a lucky egg in our rice—good luck in trying to find any more eggs after that! As you can see from the photos, the one piece of scrambled egg was all we got. I guess they placed it on top to let us know it was there."

"We were there on Valentine's day for the restaurant's opening night after being closed for about months due to a kitchen fire. The restaurant is now Dim Sum House by Jane G's with a menu that duplicates their University City location, specializing in Shanghai and Cantonese dim sum, along with some of the Sichuan dishes they had before as entrees. The food was as delicious as it was before the fire. As expected on an opening night, the service was a bit disjointed and slow, but not in an annoying way. We will definitely be back in the future to sample more of the menu"

"I was initially hesitant because it seemed expensive and had a limited brunch menu, but the incredible flavor combinations and presentation of the dishes were absolutely outstanding! I tried the avocado toast, which was incredibly delicious—I loved all the flavors—and the breakfast fries were fantastic! The chicken and waffles were equally amazing. The shishito queso had a delightful smokiness that made it a standout! And you absolutely must try the strawberry mimosas."

"We ordered take out. We typically get a couple of entrees and often add their emailed special. I phone in the order because many online menus have much higher prices and take a substantial percentage from the restaurant. When ordering, I specifically noted the special as noted in the email. When I got there and the cashier noted the amount, I said that seems high. We reviewed the items; he said the special price requires on line ordering. I said I mentioned it and why would it just be online? An older woman joined him and they were adamant that it was my mistake and the email clearly notes on line. I looked at the email this morning and it does not state on line only. It gives an online code but does say available only on line. The food was good, hot and all items present. They staple the bag so one cannot check it. Last time we ordered, a couple of weeks back, we were shorted a rice."

"We had a really good experience at Big Bowl. The food was really good and the portions are… generous. Even the kid’s meal portion was enough to take home and get two more meals out of the leftovers. Best advise to diners is to order one of the house made drinks. With or without alcohol, they are really well conceived and executed. You won’t be disappointed! For planning purposes- While very family-friendly, we noticed a dramatic shift in our dining neighbors with a much older crowd leaving by 6:00 and more families and date night couples coming in."

"I had high hopes for this restaurant as it had been recommended to me numerous times. However, I was ultimately disappointed. I ordered the twice-cooked pork and the dinosaur roll, while my friend had the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. The roll was mediocre and the salad greens were from a bag. The pork tasted old and sour, so I asked for a different dish. The waitress was not very happy about it but reluctantly replaced it with an orange shrimp dish. Unfortunately, the shrimp dish was incredibly spicy to the point of being unpleasant, with an overwhelming amount of chili. My friend's chicken fried rice was bland and cold, and the additional charge for chicken was disappointing. However, the sesame chicken was delicious. Despite the trouble we had removing the inedible item from our bill, the discount we received on the new bill was strange. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. I suggest trying Kobe, as it is more affordable and much better quality. (The fish decorations were cute though!)"

"My friends and I went out for dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant was not very crowded. The food was tasty and fresh, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair. The barbecue spare ribs, steamed shrimp and veggies, sashimi platter, chicken with veggies, and shrimp with lobster sauce were all excellent. The service was great as well. This restaurant allows you to bring your own wine, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I would give the food a 5-star rating."

"Tried this place for the first time, and it was terrible, I should have known better when I placed the order and I asked how long, the lady said (TEN MINUTES!!! that was a red flag, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I order chicken and broccoli, chicken wings and shrimp lo mein. Upon picking up the food, noticed that the Chicken Wings were (Discolored You know, like old (Chicken not (FRESH , no spice, just dry. The chicken and broccoli was unflavored, no delicious brown gravy, lots of oil in the bottom and the rice, was hard and (NOT FRESH . The LO MEIN, ah man, I'm done, this is what (10 Minutes Gets You . This is my opinion, if you like non-fresh, dry and unflavored food, then this place is for you. I love fresh flavored and savory dishes, and this place isn't for me! Vegetarian options: N/A"
