"Wonderful restaurant! Decor was gorgeous and food was fresh and delicious! Best sushi ever! Prices were fare and i like how when i asked for a side of fried rice for my 1 year old i didn't have to pay for a whole dinner plate of rice it was in a small bowl. "Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The waitress made a point to list off all the prices for items she described, something she did not do at other nearby tables. As the only people of color in the restaurant, it felt like she was singling us out. Another server adjusted an A/C unit above us without any apology, causing it to drip on my wife and me. We asked to be moved and eventually were. Unfortunately, our 24th wedding anniversary dinner was ruined by these issues."

"We have supported and enjoyed Blind Faith for years but the prices have gotten so high relative to the food served. My mediocre stuffed avocado at $19 with plain lettuce on the side left me unsatisfied, and the still very tasty Blind Faith salad at $17 which is 95% lettuce, overall gives me pause. With 2 drinks and one appetizer of Brussels sprouts our meal was over $80 before tip. The vibe is still, as always, friendly and inviting, and service good. At this price point I feel like I am mostly just offering my support to a local place, rather than getting a meal that I can’t wait to have again."

"Food, absolutely 5 stars. However, we've eaten there before and never been ignored like we were by Carlos, today, on my wife's birthday. We never got our soup, we waited 20 plus minutes to place an order for our next round of drinks and we watched Carlos visit other tables several times when we were visited twice after we placed our dinner order."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"The food was delicious. I ordered beef pho and my husband ordered fresh green salad with chicken. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were huge. We finished everything and they were offering to go boxes. I want to really talk about the service. The best service I have had. They even entertained us with some magic tricks. Not even magic , he had some special skills and we were mesmerized. I was curious and asked him to teach me and he said you eat more veggies and you will have the power. "this is a small but cozy restaurant with friendly staff. we divided a (non-vegan) feed of 2 spring rollers 2 eier rollers, but without garnel. the egg roll was tasty, the early roll were usually iceberg salad (possibly because we asked them to do so without garnel) the two sauces very, very sweet. I had the tofu mongolian, the tofu, mushrooms and 4 small pieces baby bok choy swimming in too much gravy (again, too sweet). I made myself hungry for more sweet; there was simply not enough for a satisfying vegan meal!"

"I say the food here is very good. I've been here for a few years after another Chinese restaurant left my friend and I've been having stomach problems for over a week. Usually the service is great, I come and the food is ready. The last two times have bees very different. After ordering via the phone I was told it would be 25-30 min ready for food. Arrival at the restaurant 30 minutes later and food was not ready. They said it was a few minutes, okay, no problem. He waited 30 minutes outside the restaurant when the order was finished. There were 5-6 other people waiting for the same thing. I understand that sometimes you're busy and keep the orders up. What I don't understand is why you would continue to tell customers the waiting time will be 30 minutes if in reality it will be over an hour. I would rather tell myself a more precise time than having to wait an additional 30 min for food, which is unacceptable to me. I will try to order from here again to see if the experience is something else if I don't have to find a new place. I will update my review if the experience is better. ETA: Last couple visited everything was ready in the time frame they said. We even ordered the delivery once, and it was delivered in time."

"The menu doesn't have any Chinese descriptions, which was surprising! All the entrees are listed in English. We ordered two beef egg rolls and one dish of Szechuan string beans. The string beans were really good, I’d give them a solid 4 out of 5. However, the egg roll was disappointing; I'd rate it only 1.5 out of 5 because it was too doughy and the beef didn’t taste fresh. On the bright side, the prices were quite reasonable!"

"This place needs an update! Their exhaust system didn’t work so we were greeted by a large, noisy fan. Food was floating in overly sweet teriyaki sauce and the proportion of rice to entree Was 75/25 the plate was mostly rice. Service was awkward and inconsistent. Not a place that I will return to in the near future!"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant was not crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"The service here was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter, Ajay M., truly deserves a raise—he's incredible and should definitely be earning at least $50 an hour. He is hands down the best waiter I've ever encountered, and I would return solely to experience his service again. We had a group of 10, and he was wonderful with both the kids and the adults. He was so kind and even offered to take our picture, going above and beyond to make our experience special. Thank you for making our evening memorable, Ajay!"
