"My husband and I don't often get to enjoy time together, let alone go out, so we chose Flo's for a quick dinner before spending the rest of our day and evening together. Initially, everything was pleasant; however, it took a turn when Flo stepped away for a bit. A particular female staff member, who we've seen before but aren't sure if she's related to the management, took it upon herself to run the place in a manner that felt quite uncaring. There were repeated, excessively loud ringtones for about 15 minutes while we dined, which was quite distracting.
New customers were seated near us shortly after, and one gentleman actually had to speak up about the noise to our server. Thankfully, the server addressed the issue with the staff member, who continued to respond loudly, even making comments about the customers who had spoken up.
We've noticed similar behaviors from her in the past and chose to overlook it, but this experience was truly shocking for a restaurant like Flo's. We hope this isn't a trend that continues, as we genuinely love the food, the décor, some of the staff, and all the wonderful family dinners and celebrations we’ve enjoyed here, along with the special date nights with my husband and the charm of Flo herself!"
