"I saw this place on yelpoc's Instagram and thought I'd give it a try since it's right now the street from where I live. it was alright the birria taco torta were good, the place looks clean. But what I didn't like is that they microwaved the cheese enchiladas I ordered for my son! I did see the cook take the styrofoam container out the microwave but didn't think much of it (thought it was something else) till we got home and the enchilada was stuck to the container!!!! I don't know if they know but they are not suppose to microwave styrofoam since it can leach chemicals into the food. All in all I might come back for a açaí bowl or agua fresca but not sure about coming back for microwaved food."

"We were looking vegetarian options in the Cape when we stumbled upon this gem of a place. Although small and not very fancy looking, this place serves some of the most authentic budget-friendly Mexican food. Vegetarian friendly options include Tofu as the protein substitute and pretty much all of the other dishes (such as tacos, quesadillas, etc) can be customized to not contain meat. We had the Tacos, Horchata and the Rice Bowl. Everything was fresh and loaded. The staff were extremely humble and patient. If you're craving Mexican food and are in the Cape, this place is a must try. We hope to be back soon!"

"My way to the Mexican place in SB, I bless her food and salses! Go to order is a shrunk chicken Burrito with many green salsa, but literally everything on their menu is amazing. Homey Vibes, reliable and consistent food, the staff is always so beautiful, food comes quickly. Almost casual, but so delicious. You have locations on SB"

"We visit relatives in Carpentaria CA and decided to try Rudy's based on a local recommendation. They have a very limited menu and seem to specialize in crispy tacos. My wife ordered the crispy Taco combination and I ordered the chicken sauce. Everything was ready to order and all ingredients were fresh. The crispy tacos were very good. My salad was good, but the turret dress is very dirty. The salad was much better after giving her salsa and cilantro. Our largest edition is its limited menu. If you want to order the same thing again, they are great, but we prefer more variety."

"My husband tried to pick us up a couple of burritos. He ordered two of the same thing straight from the menu. He drove home about 10 miles away, and we discovered that they had put shrimp in our burritos rather than chicken. We called in to receive a refund, and we were told that we had to drive back to the store to receive the refund even though we used ApplePay for the purchase. So my husband drove back down, burritos in hand, and was treated rudely and not offered anything in compensation, such as perhaps the correct order… I then called in again to request that they give us our order, and I was hung up on. Yikes! It’s a bit overpriced for what it is from the start, and you can’t count on getting what you ordered or being offered any sort of decent customer service."

Despite its smaller size, finding a parking spot has never been an issue. They offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The service is top-notch for dine-in dinners, with a price range of $1-10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect rating of 5. Recommended dishes include the carnitas, taco al pastor, chips and guacamole, and BLT shrimp taco. Plus, there is free parking available in the lot."
