"We visit relatives in Carpentaria CA and decided to try Rudy's based on a local recommendation. They have a very limited menu and seem to specialize in crispy tacos. My wife ordered the crispy Taco combination and I ordered the chicken sauce. Everything was ready to order and all ingredients were fresh. The crispy tacos were very good. My salad was good, but the turret dress is very dirty. The salad was much better after giving her salsa and cilantro. Our largest edition is its limited menu. If you want to order the same thing again, they are great, but we prefer more variety."

The location is nice and very well kept. The price for the area is pretty fair but the food is kind of bland, the salsa really helps.

This is an original place. Get your burritos with meat, and it will taste like the real deal. If you want it spiced up, get your own salsa from the side table. Thumbs up! View menu

The portion size received 5 stars from me. However, the quality only received 3 stars and the price only received 2 stars. Overall, I would not consider a $15 burrito worth it.

The service was good during our visit on a Sunday, but the restaurant was empty. We ordered the Sopes, and while the meat was bland and under-seasoned, the salsa was delicious. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the rice.

Pretty good place to eat. Food came out quickly. People are friendly! Food is pretty good , not the best I've had but not bad either. Prices are reasonable. Would have liked to have complementary chips to go with salsa bar like you find at other Mexican restaurants like here. Definitely would eat here again, and I recommend checking them out if you are in the area.
