"Initial thoughts upon visiting: Good menu selection, good beer selection, very friendly staff. Prices aren 't bad for Carpinteria. Some things seem a little overpriced, while other items are actually cheap. I ordered shrimp and grits. Dare I say it? Thiers is better than the place in Santa Barbara that specializes in Cajun brunch. Hard to believe, but it 's true! Tasty shrimp, good quality homemade grits, spinach. Only thing missing is the andouille. My companion had a breakfast burrito with corned beef. It was very large and deemed Delicious. We took home one of their large, pricy cinnamon rolls because they were supposed to be great. They aren 't. Meh. Overall: We like it. Thumbs up."

Absolutely fantastic! I mixed up my order, but they corrected it with a smile! It's a wonderful place with an amazing back patio outside! View menu

I ordered the fried steak and eggs with hash browns, and it was consistently delicious. The customer service was excellent; the waitress refilled our coffee several times and checked on us often. I really enjoy this place!

The food was excellent. Initially, I didn't realize that a service charge had been automatically included, as I wasn't given an itemized bill—just one where you add a tip. I almost ended up tipping twice! I really hope this wasn't intentional!

I really enjoyed this restaurant! It was my first visit, and everything was fantastic. The back patio is quite large, so if it looks crowded in the front, don’t hesitate to head towards the back. The staff is more than happy to guide you there as well. View menu

The food was gross and overpriced for what we got. Onion rings tasted like water. The pancakes were rubbery like Bisquick. Paid an extra $7 for a handful of blueberries thrown on top and cold syrup. Forgot the bacon. No butter, napkins, or utensils. I wenthome and took a covid test to make sure I hadn?t lost my sense of taste (I didn?t, the food was just that bland).

This place is absolutely spectacular. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. We have been to the Worker Bee Cafe at least a handful of times now and the major thing to mention is consistency we have never been disappointed. The pancakes are to die for as well as the hash browns. Definitely, worth the 40 min drive each week just to be welcomed by the amazing staff and owner who remembers every face. This is by far the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to.
