"We didn't get as far as trying the food; this is purely based on customer service. I booked online using OpenTable and when we arrived there were a lot of people standing outside. I explained that I had booked a table but was told that all slots were gone that morning, which begs the question is this a Farida issue or an OpenTable issue? We stood outside to wait and thought it a good sign that others were waiting as it meant the place must be good. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere was buzzing and a violinist was playing and we could see that people were being moved to accommodate others. Eventually, all others standing outside were seated and we patiently waited our turn. When were finally collected, we were told that we would be given the best table because we had waited for so long and that we would be looked after better than anyone else. As previously stated, the atmosphere was great and the menu looked really interesting so we were keen to try the food. In other restaurants we had been to, we had been acknowledged in at least a couple of minutes and offered water, which wasn't the case here. Despite being told that we would be given the best service, after 5 minutes nobody had approached us but my friend had been moved to the end of the table and literally trapped in so that 2 more people could be accommodated. She could not move. Ironically, the violinist had a table all to himself for his laptop so if he had been moved the new people coming in could have been sat there and not infringed on us. Another 5 minutes goes by and we were still not approached however, the couple who had been seated after us were being attended to and patiently being told about the food and menu. After wrestling with tables and chairs we walked out. Not a good customer experience."
