"My friend and I went to Silk Road to try out their restaurant week menu. We shared the chicken tikka masala and honey chili shrimp, both of which were outstanding. The chili shrimp had a nice kick to it, which I enjoyed. The lemongrass crab bisque was also amazing, with a creamy texture and lots of crab meat. For dessert, I had the white chocolate mango cheesecake, which was a refreshing and tasty indulgence. As a fan of mango and cheesecake, it was the perfect way to end the meal. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Man this place is highly underrated. Had to help family move to Gainesville recently and were looking for a spot for good Pakistani/Indian food options. Stumbled across this and decided to try it. The food was excellent. We have now had it on three separate occasions and the chicken tikka masala, chapli kababs, goat biryani, veg and chicken samosas, among many other items were all great. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. I only took one star off for atmosphere because I feel the location is very fast casual and less dine in in terms of decor and ambiance. Just a little TLC in making it look nicer and this is probably the top option for Southasian cuisine in Gainesville. Will 100% be back every time I visit the family."

"Hands down the best chicken tikka masala I had in Socal. I lived in Norcal and they have much more authentic Indian cuisines. This one is delicious. The chicken tikka masala not too sweet and creamy. The same goes with the butter chicken. Portions are big. The tandoori chicken is freshly made and actually made in Tandoor not made in the oven then heated up. Prices are too good go be true for the flavors. I highly recommend this place 10/10."

A few weeks ago, I ordered Aloo Paratha from Shalimar in Latham, and it was fantastic with a generous portion for just $5. However, when I tried the same dish at Shalimar in Troy, it cost $8, and the portion was less than half of what I received before! My order, which included Aloo Paratha, Chicken Biryani, naan, and a small portion of Paneer Makhani, totaled $55 after fees, tax, and tip. That seems excessively high for a light lunch for two people."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time last week and ordered through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, we were missing one order of rice, but it wasn't a huge issue since there was plenty of rice in each dish. We got Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lentil Soup, basmati rice, and Garlic Naan. While we liked the flavors of the food, my main complaint was that the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala were quite greasy. However, the garlic naan was among the best I've had in the area, so I would definitely recommend it! I'm not a fan of lentil soup, but my mom said she really enjoyed this one. Overall, I liked the food and the prices. If it weren't for the greasy sauces in the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala, I probably would have given it a full 5 stars."

I ended up asking them to remove it, and it felt unnecessary to be treated like a suspect. Not everyone is a thief, and this kind of treatment is unfair. The review of each product took 40 minutes, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. To make matters worse, while I was checking out, there was an employee watching my every move. "Late evening after drive back from Rochester towards Binghamton we looked up in Google for vegetarian Indian food places and decided to stop at this Victor NY location . Service was excellent by Josh Took care of explaining hotness/ spicy foods which we ordered like Palak Paneer and Mixed Vindalo vegetables. All entrees come with rice and one small addition dish which they mentioned at ordering. They have full bar and I ordered glass of Cabernet which was good starter . Regular Naan was big and freshly cooked . All enters were delicious and in large quantity which required us to take home boxes!!"
