"The restaurant's portion sizes are significantly smaller compared to places like Chima and Texas de Brazil. Overall, the experience cost us $61 per person, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. We found ourselves having to constantly ask for more meat. My mother was the only one at the table who wanted her meat cooked medium, and it took multiple requests to get it right. The rest of us received meat that was either undercooked or overcooked. I had mentioned during our reservation that it was my mother's birthday. While she was getting food from the bar, I reminded our waiter and asked if we could get a dessert for her. He said it wouldn’t be a problem. Meanwhile, my husband was still waiting for his meat, and by the time we had all finished, he was still hoping for a few more pieces. The waiter kept insisting we order dessert, and we asked to wait until my husband had his meat. Despite this, two other waiters came over to push dessert on us after 20 minutes of waiting, and we still hadn’t seen any sign of the meat. I was disappointed that this was supposed to be a special celebration for my mother. My husband remarked that we would never return. At $62 per person, it wasn’t worth it, especially since the espresso was cold. Even with an abundance of waitstaff attending to our table, the service felt disorganized, as they all seemed to be asking the same questions. In contrast, we’ve had much better experiences at Chima and Texas de Brazil, where the prices are lower, the service is great, and the salad bar is twice as big. I can confidently say we will not be returning."

"Now, onto the experience: I anticipated the usual, “Have you dined with us before?” from my waiter, but instead, I was immediately asked about my drink order. That was fine, but I thought an explanation of the dining process would follow after our drinks were served. Once we got our drinks and our toasting glasses, we found ourselves baffled as meat skewers began circulating around our table while my husband and I were left sitting there, unsure of what to do. I didn’t expect to have to ask for instructions in a restaurant like Fogo de Chão. We didn’t see our waiter often, and I even had to call the hostess to bring him over just to get our check. I understand it was a busy New Year's celebration, and the staff was likely caught up with other tables, but I could count on one hand the number of times the waiter approached us without prompting. When he finally returned to our table, he simply asked, “Last call, what do y’all want?” That phrase was so off-putting that at that point we only wanted the check. Additionally, we were seated at a table right near the kitchen, which created a very cramped atmosphere. My husband was bumped into by staff and other diners throughout the evening. I was surprised to discover that there were empty tables just around the corner when I went to use the restroom at the start of our reservation."

"Birthday Dinner extravaganza!!!! My first time here and it was a great experience. I will not spoil how everything works because the part of the experience is!! First from our waiter Jeffrey was so helpful and attentive!! He explained the food process, took our drinks orders and the adventure started. Since they have their own special Brazilian rum, I ordered what was near a Pina Colada and ordered my daughter, which was kind of like a Mai Tai. Delicious! The salad bar is full of all kinds of delicious things make your own salad, other tasty pages, and my favorite was the Haikoochie fare! (Hence the pre food plate pic . There were lobster bisque (my daughter said it was good and perfect for dipping bread into , scaled potatoes (they were not as great as it seemed, the cheese sauce tasted like box sauce perhaps too much flour? jasmine rice (yummy, Brazilian black beans (also delicious and sauteed mushrooms in a delicious gravy. Then the meat rounds for you!! The Gauchos (Jeffrey said that is who they come with a spit and cut the meat to your taste. I will not spoil the elections, but there is something for everyone!! Every bite I took was delicious with the exception of pork it was a bit dry, but nothing that could not fix the gravitation of mushrooms. Also brought to the table is garlic potatoes and sweet curtains were both really good. Forget the basket of Arta Mais (Brot Muffins that could have contained cheese in them. All right. We had another great waitress (Lisa perhaps, who was so sweet and showed us the desert options. Since it was my day, I ordered the carrot cake. It had pistachios in it and I love carrot cake and the hell it is my bday imma have a cheating day!! A pleasant experience with excellent food, ambience and service."
