"I ordered a gluten-free Italian sandwich and cheese bread. Ready in 20mins. Unfortunately NOT ready in 20mins. The guy says I 'm working on a $400 order so they hadn 't started my order. I ask how much longer? He said, a few minutes . Then the guy wearing glasses behind him says no, It will take longer. I was clearly frustrated. I said so you said a few minutes now longer?! You guys have my phone , no call to say order will be delayed. In frustration I say, thanks !!! He responds sarcastically, your welcome . I LOST IT. I said wrong f 'ing answer! And I called him an ahole for his snarky remark.Then they both said, get the fxck outta here!(as if I 'm going to stick around to subject myself to anymore idiocy! Now granted, I redlined pretty quick. But if they had simply apologized and pro-bono 'd the order, it would have de-escalated the ordeal. Instead I get excuses and attitude. Times sure have changed! Cottage Inn, train your employees to resolve problems NOT escalate them. Then to boot, my wife called repeatedly to get them to refund the order, no answer! So yup, you guessed it, I had to go back in there and bite my tongue to get a refund! What a complete clown show.SMH"
