"I really enjoy this coney. It's conveniently located near the Suburban Showcase, where I've been a vendor at several shows. It’s my go-to spot for breakfast before events. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and quick, and it’s reasonably priced."

"As for the service, our waiter was decent but seemed overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. One odd detail I noticed was the use of uncensored music playing in the background; if you plan to bring children, I would advise against it if you're concerned about vulgar language. Update: We mentioned the issue with the chicken fried rice and asked if they could remove it from the bill since we barely touched it. The waiter laughed and said no. That pretty much sums up our experience."

"The same could be said for the plank. The tapenade was overly salty, and the garlic in the hummus was too intense. If you're a huge fan of garlic, this might suit you, but for me, it was off-putting. Having tasted authentic hummus from Lebanese, Jordanian, and Syrian cuisines, this version was quite different. It had chunks of garlic that affected both the texture and gave an unpleasant astringent taste. The pita triangles were small and not soft, and the red pepper was bland and overly oily. I appreciate the effort Jacob made to ensure I had vegan options when I picked up my order. He even got a server on the phone to discuss which items could be made vegan—mostly salads—though they wouldn’t substitute ingredients, only remove dairy, meat, or eggs. He also attempted to get a sorbet dessert that wasn't officially on the menu, but it wasn't ready yet. While the staff is friendly and the restaurant is popular, it falls short in accommodating vegans. In response to your acknowledgment of the issues in my review, it's good to clarify that you're not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant. This is important information for diners. I only realized the problems after getting home since it was late and raining, making it impractical to call for replacements. It's crucial that you ensure the quality of what you serve, particularly for takeout orders. If a dish isn't prepared properly, it shouldn't be sold. I previously credited Jacob for his efforts, so I'm unsure why that point was repeated. When I inquired about 'veganizing' a dish, the server mentioned they could only remove non-vegan items from salads. It would greatly help your customers if you clearly outlined possible substitutions and labeled your menu better for those with dietary restrictions, whether vegan or otherwise. Currently, there are very few suitable options for vegans."

"NEWEST UPDATE 8 3 23: We did try Masala again, and ordered all VERY mild, but their level of spice is just too much for us. Very good food, but too spicy for our palate, so for those who like that, it 's great food! : UPDATE And now, this was the fastest owner response to a complaint we 've ever had! The owner called me approx 1.5 hours after I called in to tell them about the spice level problem, and apologized profusely. He hadn 't even read this review yet. He is refunding our money, said the kitchen mixed up our order with another who wanted medium plus , he has new staff, and so yes, we WILL try them again. He could not have been more apologetic or nicer, and so I will update this review once more after we order mild in the future, and get to EAT mild . : Fastest review turnaround I 've ever done. Ordered at 10:51 a.m. today, it was ready by 11:04, we finished tasting at 11:25. There is VERY little chicken in the korma maybe 4 little pieces and the rest sauce. Both the aloo gobi and the korma were ordered Mild , and BOTH dishes are far too spicy for us to eat. The just over $30 for small portions of overly spiced food is now in the trash. And when we called back to ask if a mistake had been made, as we could not eat their food, the woman answering the phone didn 't seem to care AT ALL. This was our first and now LAST time ordering food from this restaurant."

"Big Tommys Parthenon is our go to choice for carry out or delivery. When we dine in, the service is friendly and efficient. We have been going there for years because the food is so good. Peronally,I particularly enjoy their lima beans. Perhaps it may be odd to emphasize a side dish but this is so much more than simple lima beans. I can list three reasons. First, they aren huge quite literally the largest i have ever seen (and I travel the world over . Second, Big Tommys Parthenon prepares them in a secret way (we asked that has each bean nearly bursting with broth or some other liquid so that each bean bursts in your mouth. Finally, the portion size is substantial for a side (for the record here, though, I usually order Lima beans there for both of my side dishes . The menu is much more than Lima beans though! The Lamb is moist and falls off the bone. We have a member of the family who must eat gluten free and dairy free. Her go to order (saved in our Door Dash account is Chicken Filet which i tastier than the name suggests. The House Salad with chicken and the Big Tommys creamy house dressing comes in a half order and a full order. The half is big enough for the entire meal of one person (and more . The full order must be enormous (weve never ordered it . In short, portion size is substantial. As for dessert, both the Carrot Cake and Baclava are worth the calories for a splurge."
