"The food at this restaurant was outstanding. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the mud pie was tasty. However, the waitstaff's service left much to be desired. One waiter nearly knocked my boyfriend out of his chair, while another waiter accidentally bumped into our table, almost causing our wine to spill. Despite these incidents, there was no apology or acknowledgment from the staff. They even tried to clear my salad plate while I was still eating. I had to pour my own water multiple times throughout the meal. For a bill of $165, I expected a higher level of service. Despite the service issues, the food was really excellent."

"Overall experience was disappointing. There was an odor in the bar area. All the food seemed to have been rushed. Like warmed up. Stuffed mushrooms that I had there at the bar tasted fine but I could see where the plastic wrap had been pulled off and then set in a warm oven for several minutes. My to go order came out few minutes later. The loaded potato was plain hard in the center. The medium rare NY strip was pink to edge. Steak was pretty good just undercooked. Broiled tomatoes the same. Granted I have a 20 minute commute to the house but that doesn 't explain the undercooked potato, tomatoes and steak."

"Shrimp Myron was hot, and delicious. The bread was hot and reminded my wife of being in France. The Filet was cooked perfectly, and you didn't need a knife to cut it because it was so tender. The scalloped potatoes were so tender, you could have mistaken them for mashed potatoes. Service was on point, and always attentive. This is the gem of New Braunfels."

"Absolutely fantastic! As soon as we sat down, our service was prompt. The cheese dip was delicious and came in a generous bowl. "This very casual steak house on 3rd and Federal is great. You walk in and order from the counter. They have some good steaks, burgers, pork chops. All cooked really fast! A dinner comes with a baked potato and small salad and fresh grilled bread. The sandwiches come with fries. Drinks are extra. The fried shrimp are delicious! Very friendly staff.
