"I ate at Dickie Brennan’s in New Orleans on 06/19/2018. We had a party of six and arrived around 7:00 pm. We realized upon arrival that we were a little under dress, but the hostesses assured us that it was no big deal. We hadn’t made a reservation, but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Before seating us they asked if it was okay for us to be seated in the bar. We had a young child with us so we appreciated them asking before just seating us in the bar. Within two or three minutes of being seated the waiter came to take out drink order. I was surprised to find out they did not sell sweet tea, but I was politely offered unsweetened tea. Our drinks came out quickly along with warm and crisp French bread. We ordered a small New York strip, a fourteen ounce ribeye, the petite filet, and the Grilled Gulf fish, along with a few sides. We waited no longer than thirty minutes for our food and in the meantime the wait staff made sure our drinks were full and asked if we wanted more bread. The New York strip was ordered medium and was a little rarer than expected, but was still edible without having to send it back. The ribeye was ordered well-done and although a little crisp on the out side the steak was still perfectly juicy and tender. The petite filet was ordered medium-rare and was cooked to perfection. Each steak was topped with a garlic herb butter which added just enough flavor depth to make a melody in your mouth. The grilled gulf fish was fork tender and was served with vegetables, both were seasoned nicely. While eating we had four different people, including the head waiter, come by our table asking how our food was. It was upscale and the prices reflected that, however, it was well worth it considering the excellent service and food. We will definitely be eating here again."

I've eaten at high-end steak restaurants all over the country and this was, by far, the single-worst dining experience I've had at any of them. I was... View menu

The food was without a doubt amazing, the steak perfectly cooked, and the bananas foster cheesecake should be criminal. But hands down the star of the meal was the wait staff. Mr. Otis was charming and delightful and Mr. Ricky, witty and fun.

One of my very favorites! Try to come every time I visit the city. Delicious homemade steak sauces. I usually don’t like sauces but can’t resist these. They have several. Steaks are excellent and sides are super good. You don’t have to dress up if you eat at the bar, but the dinning rooms are beautiful. Consistently voted one of the top 10 steakhouses in the country.

What an incredible experience! We were celebrating our anniversary and this was the perfect place. Our server, Alfredo, was incredible. He made everything so special for us in every way and was so good to us. The drinks were strong and food was phenomenal. Asparagus salad was a delicious start. The signature strip steak with Cajun spices was to die for, especially with their house peppercorn sauce. The au gratin potatoes was so yummy. It’s a meal I’ll dream of until we get to return again. Truly a fantastic experience and a NOLA gem. View menu

A very enjoyable experience, both in food and ambiance.Waitstaff was friendly, and knowledgeable and at the same time, discreet. The turtle soup was tasty with just a bit of heat. When they asked if I wanted anchovies on my Caesar salad, they meant it! see the photo. The steaks were seared and cooked to perfection! Still mid rare inside! I regret the tallow fries and wish I tried one of the other sides. Also, didn't realize the bananas foster (invented at Brennan's) was for 2 so I regret the creme brulee which was good, but the bananas foster prepared table side, can't be beat!

My husband and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. We say anything from men in suits to men in shorts and hats. Women were well dressed pants or dresses). The staff and attention is exceptional. Everyone is extremely well trained and professional. The managers in suits) are everywhere and want to know if you’re happy. We appreciated that. We loved the amount of private rooms they have in case you have a private party). The bread is yummy and they serve it in a bag that is warm. We had the crab cake as an appetizer and it was honestly THE BEST crab cake I’ve ever had. No breading, no add ins, full on delicious REAL crab meat! Also had the Fraser salad, it came with anchovies you can opt th...
