"The atmosphere was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. The food, however, was very disappointing. The Steak Salad was just a pile of spinach and lettuce. My wife ordered her steak cooked medium, but it came well done (no pink at all). My steak was cooked medium as ordered, but was so tough that I could not eat most of it. The asparagus looked like something thrown away by the grocery store, and the mashed potatoes were, ...well........, they were just mashed potatoes. On the plus side, however, the wine and the teeny-tiny dessert were excellent."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious, however, I experienced an issue with being charged twice on my credit card. After speaking with a manager named Seth, he explained that there was an error with the processor and assured me that I would receive a refund. Unfortunately, 5 days have passed and I have still not received my money back. I feel as though the restaurant could have handled the situation better as they seem to be avoiding taking responsibility for the mistake. I would advise against paying with a credit card at this establishment, as there is a risk of being overcharged."

"My oh my! So I’m from TX and pretty opinionated about BBQ. This place nailed it! Highly recommend the lamb ribs. Seriously give them a shot. Beef burnt ends best the pork burnt ends in my opinion. We went on a Sunday at around 1pm and there was a few people ahead of us. They said 25 min wait . So make reservations if you come at a busy time. We sat at the bar and sat right down so all good. Service and atmosphere perfect. Theres a parking garage right across from it with free parking. This is a top notch BBQ place!"

"everything about this place was excellent from ambiente to eating and even waiting staff. I ordered the pulled schweinemac and cheese that came out in an ENORMOUS part and was the most creamy mac and cheese I've ever had. of smokey taste of drawn pork, it was really an experience. I also ordered her **** mary to supplement my meal and it was so delicious. the tomato taste was accompanied by a slightly smoky taste that completely surprised me. this delicious concoction was filled by no other than drawn pork filled green olives that are heaven in and by themselves. if they are looking for a delicious kansas city bbq, they don't see."

"Pure Kitchen is my favorite restaurant! I've been eating here at least once a week for the past few months, if not more. The food is always delicious and very affordable. "It was the best. This restaurant kind of fell of our radar. We had been here before but not for many months. Everything was great. Easy to park, nice person to receive us, attire code to keep out hats and sports jerseys. Great table locations, not too close. Great waiter, food selection and quality was good. "This restaurant wasn't the worst I've been to, but it's definitely far from the best. We stopped by while attending a conference in Mobile. The food was on the pricier side, the portion sizes were average, and the fried dishes were lacking in flavor. The mac and cheese, which had received a lot of hype, was a disappointment—it tasted like Stouffer's. The camp salad had a unique twist with heart of palm, which reminded me of artichoke, although it wasn't nearly as delicious. I won't be returning."

"Celebrated my daughter’s birthday and had a delicious meal. Our server Eric was great in all ways and took great care of us. Only complaint was the group we were seated by had 2 children who were not made to behave and they kept running around the tables and our waiter was almost upended at one point. I know this is not the restaurants fault but it still made us uncomfortable."

"I have been absolutely blown away by this place. My family is Bengali so we are really picky about our takeout Indian food (my mom says “why should we pay for stuff we can make at home and Akbar has been consistently excellent since I was 16 (also very popular catering hall/wedding venue) but I am writing this review now because their recent customer service deserves special recognition. I pre ordered a large catering order for an office party the next day with my co workers and one of the dishes was a little too spicy (I tried everything since most of my office isn’t used to Indian food). The restaurant isn’t even open until 5 pm the next day but I reached out via Google messenger and Ms. Meena Chopra and the staff responded RIGHT AWAY, remade the dish milder no questions asked, SEVERAL hours before the restaurant even opened which means the chef came in early (also, what a guy). They did not even ask to charge me even though my co workers having milder palettes is totally not their problem. This catering order made our event a hit and all my co workers now love Indian food. The food is phenomenal, the staff goes above and beyond and it is a supremely professionally run business. The menu is perfect for both new lovers of Indian food and those for whom Indian food feels like home. Akbar is a 10/10 must have."

"Service is great and restaurant is posh inside but food is not worth the money. They don't know how to cook a steak right. This isn't the first nice steakhouse where I've sent a steak back for being improperly cooked. My steak came pretty much burnt on the outside and it had some very rare parts on the inside. I had them put it back on the grill and when they brought it back it was okay on the inside but really burnt on the outside. My steak cost me $99 btw. What a disappointment. Also it was sort of dry and not as soft as I usually expect from prime steak. Certainly nothing like I make at home. You gotta keep basting that steak with melted garlic thyme butter and cover it up with something while it's cooking so the steam keeps it moist. Also reduce heat after searing so that it doesn't dry out...very important. Charcuterie board was poor....looked like a prepackaged one from a grocery store. Trust me I've had some amazing Charcuterie boards. They usually come with french bread or bruschetta and not pita and they usually come with fig jelly not honey and they usually have a better selection of meats and cheeses. Salad was average.... not what I would expect from a restaurant like this. Honestly there wasn't a single thing at this restaurant that I haven't had a better version of for less than half the price. If you have this kind of money to spend go to Refectory or Barcelona."

"12/10/21 Exceeded Expectations. My girlfriend and I had reservations for 6pm in the bar and were seated promptly as soon as we arrived. Ryan did an outstanding job as our Server and Cole/Colt did a great job assisting. We tried the lamb chop special, our first time having lamb and Ryan suggested we try medium rare to prevent them from being too tough. The holiday special mussels appetizer is a must try for any seafood lover, make sure to get extra bread (thanks again Ryan), and the king Crab and corn bisque was an excellent complement to start the meal with. The Lamb chop holiday special and a medallion trio to try the different topping styles were the perfect entree selections. The Bacon and Bleu was my favorite due to the perfect blend of creamy Bleu Cheese and savory Bacon. The signature carrot cake (ended up in a box) and Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie al a Mode were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Special shout out to everyone in the kitchen preparing the food, one of the best meals my girlfriend and I have ever had anywhere. Ambience 10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10"

"I am vegan, sugar free, and gluten free so not many options out there for me. I was hoping the Lime would be a new option relatively close to where I live. Unfortunately there were only two options that were vegan and gluten free: veggies/hummus and black bean chili. I ordered both. The hummus was kinda bland but was homemade and large serving. The chilli seemed like it was just canned black beans heated up and also quite bland. I added salt (which look like ordinary table salt instead of a healthier option) and threw the hummus in the chili and it actually made a nice combo. The herbal iced tea was great. For limited eaters like me, it's not the best option especially not knowing if the food is organic."

"with the family for a birthday party, I ordered etouffee and fried fish. excellent, just a little seasonal required. my man ordered the oyster-poboy and loved it, along with the koleslaw he thought it was too sweet, but my son and I loved it) my daughter in the law ordered the seafood salad with ranch and it was awesome, my neice ordered the rubber bear, but said it needed also seasoned. my son's birthday type) ordered the stuffed crab, a side of etouffee, and a side of red bean n reis, said everything was great. I tried to buy his stuffed crab and it was 100x better than bought or other restaurants, could see the krotten. great taste. our server was efficient and accommodating above the top. before I forget, everything began with boiled red cartomas and butter, delicious and 1/2 dozen bbq oysters and 1/2 dozen carved oysters. loves the garlic butter best."
