"It was the best. This restaurant kind of fell of our radar. We had been here before but not for many months. Everything was great. Easy to park, nice person to receive us, attire code to keep out hats and sports jerseys. Great table locations, not too close. Great waiter, food selection and quality was good. Nice drink selections. There was nothing that went wrong with this restaurant on our visit with four of us. It made for a fun night."

The food was remarkable; we ordered oysters, a salad, and a steak trio, accompanied by cocktails. The atmosphere was very romantic, especially with the fireplace. We are regular patrons of Merlot's in Warrenville, and it has never disappointed. Our table in the requested bar area was to our liking. Our server was personable and outstanding, and our meals were, as always, outstanding. Our half-dozen charbroiled oysters were very good, and our filets were done perfectly to order. All-in-all, another satisfying experience Merlot's.

From the moment we arrived until we left fully satisfied, the service was outstanding. The meal itself was simply perfect. We enjoyed both the elk and the bone-in filet, which were cooked to perfection. Our sides and appetizers were also delicious and complemented the main dishes beautifully. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and I hope to return soon. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality you receive.
