"I have enjoyed Sarpino?s pizza for years, but I am highly dissatisfied with the Chicago Bucktown location. I placed an online order at 8:00 this evening. At about 9:10 the order tracker indicated my pizza had been delivered. There was no pizza in the vicinity of my house and no contact from the driver. I called the store and the said the driver was just returning. They indicated there had been some type of problem, and would call me back in about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes and no contact from the store, I called back. I was informed that the driver delivered my order to the wrong house, and my payment had been refunded, but when I asked about receiving my food I was told that I would not be receiving my order. I pointed out to the manager that I had been waiting for 90 minutes at that point for my dinner, and that since this mistake was entirely the fault of the driver, they should send me the food I had ordered. The manager?s position was that she had refunded the money, therefore no further action was needed on her part. She went on to say that she had only one driver and any further orders would take 2 hours to deliver. This is an extremely poor excuse for customer service, and I would encourage others to avoid ordering from this location."
